Kitchen 527

We have been to Kitchen 527 at least 10 times since we moved to South Haven this fall. It is by far the BEST restaurant downtown. The combination of flavors in their food from start to finish is phenomenal and always consistent. The staff is friendly and service is great! One time, the restaurant was closed and a couple tried to come in, the chef himself ran to the door to let the couple know they were welcome and that the kitchen would stay open. Everything about Kitchen 527 makes it out favorite place in South Haven!!

A nice little vegetarian tapas type venue, disguised as a neighborhood sports bar. A good place for meat lovers to try veggie options. I enjoyed a true micro brew, veggie burger, and Monday night football, all in the same place. I tried the sweet potato burger which was served on a big fluffy bun. The patty was gently grilled and soft, which made me afraid I might lose it if I held it too tight. But I didn't and it was truly yummy. The salad bar is amazing.

The best macaroni and cheese that I have ever eaten! It's been months since I've been here and I still think about it! Very friendly staff who were able to explain the different local beer flavors, and even let us try some out before buying. Definitely recommended!

At first, I was confused with the menu because of its unique foods and words. I was simply looking for a burger and found the "Sinatra Burger" which was a make it your own burger. I was very pleased with the food and the service! The fries are so crispy but in a pleasant and yummy way! Would recommend and I would be willing to try their more unique food options next time!

It's a little on the pricey side, but the burgers are good. The buns are especially good, a little on the sweet side and toasted. The fries are pretty skinny, but also good. They also have Sriracha Ketchup as an option on the tables.
