This is a great local place for food and drinks! The location has a beautiful old bar that was built when over a century ago. We stopped in to have their signature drink the Tom & Jerry, which is delicious and will warm you up on a cold day!
If your looking for decent food fast Kissner's is a great local option that isn't fast food. Parking can be an issue at times so be prepared to have to walk a bit if nearby spots are full. Since we chose to give it a second chance post pandemic we haven't been disappointed. The menu is varied but not too confusing, service is fast and the food is always hot and made to order. The wait staff may not always smile, but they are always friendly. In the midst of growing inflation the prices are still pretty good. Parking: Shared lot behind the building where people don't seem to know how to space themselves properly and free on street parallel parking in front and along the side of the building.
Love this small town treasure. It was very busy the past 2 times, which I'm grateful for. The staff is laid back and friendly. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but it's downtown so that's expected.Food: 4/5
Allison was SUPER she was so friendly got our refills I drink pop like crazy!! Checked on us....got me an orange T-Shirt. The food was delicious we are from Toledo, Ohio and we will take another road trip to see you again soonFood: 5/5
Been going there for 49+ years.....food NOT good. Asked for a hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy......got deli turkey. Another person with us ordered fries crispy....they were hardly cooked. Won't be going backFood: 3/5
2 star service rating is NOT a knock on the waitresses. They are just understaffed, like everywhere else. For being understaffed they do a great job. Good enough food, great atmosphere. Parking: Depends on the day and time. Could be great, could be bad.
The staff seem very toxic around each other. Plates/utensils don’t seem super sanitary let alone how food is stored. Don’t expect a fresh salad, they’re all prep plated in the fridge for who knows how long. A little too Kitchen Nightmares for me, but at least the drinks are cheap!
It was terrible. A small specialty hamburger and the fries weren't fully cooked was over $14.00. The specialy hamburger stated it came with chips and I ordered fries on the side. When the order arrived I was told I didn't have the chips since I ordered a side of fries. It did say on the sandwich colum side of the menu that an upgrade of $2 for a side order, but it did not say that on the specialty burger colum side of the menu. I won't be back. Expensive for small quantity and quality of a meal.
Kissner’s is the bomb. Very cool setting on the inside. Kind of like a 1950’s themed Cracker Barrel. I got the 3/4 pound Karl burger with waffle fries and the cheese curds as an app. The burger was 9/10. Awesome food. Would recommend.
First visit. Food was fresh and good. Service was good. Only complaint was my house salad was basically just iceberg lettuce w one small tomato wedge. Could step that up a bit!!Food: 4/5
