It’s later in the day than normal to want breakfast but that was what we wanted. Drove 20 minutes for breakfast!!! We’ve never been here before and I didn’t see EXACTLY what I wanted on the menu, however knew precisely what I wanted. I wanted a meat lovers omelette with veggies, so not really a “traditional meat lovers omelette” Juan did a PHENOMENAL job to accommodate what I was looking for. The pancakes were just the way my mother used to make them when I was kid. The Farmers Big Breakfast is just as amazing. I was Skeptical at first but MAN it was SUPER! Great atmosphere, great staff, great diversity, VERY homey and VERY welcoming. If you haven’t been…. GOOOOO!!! Vegetarian options: They have A LOT of options available, I am pretty sure if you request they could accommodate. Kid-friendliness: There were multiple littles in the restaurant during my visit. Parking: There’s plenty. Street accessible. Black top. Wheelchair accessibility: Doorways are wide enough to accommodate, there isn’t a ramp because there is no need. It’s on a lot. There isn’t a difficult lip to get into. Dietary restrictions: Just ask. It’s a family business.
Our first visit. It's nothing like it looks 9n the outside, it looks a little bigger on the inside. The menu surprised with how large it was and the number of selections. We both had breakfast and I had the 5 egg omelet of ham and cheese. The side of pancakes was perfect and they were light and fluffy. I was happy to see they offered grits and we each had a side of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were also light and fluffy to go with a load of wonderful white cream gravy on top. Service was great and they keep your coffee cup filled. Very friendly servers. We will be back.
Defiance Pancake house has great food, excellent service, huge portions, and an enormous amount of menu items to choose from. I ordered the country fried steak skillet with French toast as my side and upgraded my French toast with the dulce de leche topping, and I couldn't have been happier with my choices. My meal was delicious and I had enough to bring some home with me. The dining room is small, but it's not a huge downfall. The servers were very quick, friendly, and attentive. Prices were fair for the amount of food you get.
The best breakfast in town with zero competition. Eggs? Wonderful. Pancakes? Fantastic. Waffles? Superb. Sandwiches? That's lunch, but somehow it's still amazing. The waitresses are the sweetest whenever I go. There is at least one chef there who is all about the presentation. Pictured below are Strawberry Banana Nutella crepes, and I highly recommend them.
I almost never give 5-star ratings. I do now. Incredible place. Great morning staff. Obviously liked due to the loaded parking lot. Inside was pretty full too, which made it a bit noisy. Food was Incredible too. If you need breakfast food, definitely stop here.Food: 5/5
From Dayton up here for work today. Stopped in after the amazing reviews. I am definitely doing a 2 hour road trip for breakfast in the future. This was the most amazing breakfast, portions and taste. Sarah my server! She was awesome with great suggestions and attitude. Defiance is lucky to have such restaurant.Food: 5/5
So I don't normally take time to do this. But this place is great. It has that real Hometown Family Restaurant feel. The food is excellent. The service is really good. The food comes out quick you can get in and out even if they're really busy. Highly recommend. Also, we had went there and on accident left our diaper bag there for like a week before we realized that's where we left it. We called him back and they were still holding it for us. We were grateful. Good people
Come HUNGRY!!! If your not looking for it, you’d drive right by it... that’s a mistake. This little restaurant brings big flavor and excellent food... 5 egg omelettes, crispy edged pancakes, and homemade style hashbrowns, that’s a breakfast that will last you all day. The home style dinner feel is only made better by the super friendly staff that wants you to have a nice meal. Don’t miss this place. Thanks for a great breakfast!!!

This is a place...don't judge the book by it's cover. Wasn't sure when we got there. Went in...food was amazing! Service was wonderful. Prices were fair. Went back 2 days later if that tells you anything lol. Crepes are a MUST!!Food: 5/5
