The M+E is a nice clean bar with a warm old school pub feel to it. From the tin ceiling, wooden bar back, and brick walls, the building itself seems as friendly as the staff. I didn't have the pizza, but it looked and smelled great. It will definitely be a regular stop.
Owner was great. Victoria is the worst bartender ive ever had. We went out for DORA the first weekend, stood in line for ever. People in front of us got tired of seeing her neglect the main bar area and only wait on people setting at the bar. After a few groups of people walked out. I felt something needed to be said. I ask what it took to get service in this place? Victoria told us to get the hell out. Went out talked to the owner he got us our drinks on the house. Thank you!! If Victoria cant handle a crowd she needs to go. Bye bye Victoria!

Giving this place a 2, if not for the awesome music that was on autoplay I assume satellite radio or something and really good, would get a zero. The bartender's personality is apparently only reserved for the known locals and showed little to no appreciation for a new customer, and the other bartender could have been the owner or manager I really don't know did not even greet me or speak to me, only stared, which was kinda creepy. I have just moved here from Florida and I am from a small town in Louisiana and have lived in 13 states and 25 cities in the US. When you walk into a bar you should be greeted with a friendly "hello" of some sort, not a looked at with a judging eye and weary attitude.
Good people here. Great pizza! Wish it was a bit bigger to get a table. Definitely a good place to hang out!
