Bus 108 S 1305 has the rudest bus driver I’ve ever met. I politely let the driver know that the funds were being loaded to my presto and asked if he could give me a couple of mins, he drove 6 stops, stopped the bus and asked how much longer. I let him know due to the cold outside my phone was moving a little bit slow and showed him my presto app that the funds were still processing. He suggested that “if I don’t have money I should get off the bus”. I let him know money was not an issue as I take the same bus everyday and he’s familiar with me and requested a couple of more seconds. He told me again to get off the bus and that I should’ve loaded my presto in my office. I told him the Presto App was under maintenance and that I am not a user of Apple Pay and that again, if he could give me a minute I would tap my presto a with no issue. He raised his voice this time and told me to get off the bus again. I did not argue and simply got off the bus. I had to wait another 30 mins to get on the bus in minus 10 weather. What was sad about this was about a minute after I got off, my presto loaded. I was travelling from Meadowvale to Etobicoke and was extremely tired from work. I ran just to catch that bus so that I could be home in a good time frame. I spoke with this man’s supervisor and they stated that it is AGAINST policy to kick anyone of the bus if they are having issues paying their fare. I hope this driver gets coached and that this does not happen to another person. Do better with hiring your employees Mi Way
