Islington Station

Major renovations make it awkward to access especially from parking areas as of Aug 2023. Bus terminal access continues but appears will be moved as well. Escalators were running and there was a TTC person in the booth for enquiries.

This bench is placed so it gets rained on. It should be placed under the roof.nnSuch a dumb design/placement.

1st time visiting Toronto and taken the subway. The staff at the station including the bus drivers were so kind to me. They were very helpful to when I asked questions and they even gave me a break for free ride because I had the wrong tokens. Did I mention how super clean the buses, trains and subway station are? You could sit on thier floors in the subway, that's how clean they were!

Only 2 stores survive during covid. I cant understand how a builder like Minto will build condos on top of Islington Station...bad idea , noise factor and inflation prices !

I do not mind this station, however, it is really confusing because of the way it is laid out. It is also extremely dirty, and I mean filthy. The tiles embedded into the wall down where the trains are were I believe once white, and now they are almost black. The air quality felt super poor and I think the tiles kind of prove that point. Otherwise, just a decent station!
