Nice campground. Easy access to grocery shopping and showers. Nice views of the Chief. The campground is well kept. It is in the city and popular so it can be noisy at night.
Great location, although the campground only has porta potties and you have to go to the rec center next door to pay for a shower. There is running water, which is great, but it is weird that the dishwashing/grey water disposal sink does not have water to it. The area is quiet and there is a nice bike park and path beside it.
Great campground so far it's been pretty easy to get a spot in the evening, pays to pick one with a fire pit and a table by it. Just be careful not to drive into the fire pit - we saw that happen. The toilets are portaloos but generally pretty clean.
Strange campsite compared with ones in the UK and Europe. $10 per person per night. And you are only allowed to stay a max of 14 nights. Gets really full really fast though as there are not many plots for tents or drive in. Great to be able to walk to all of the climbing in the local area. Taps with running water and some bench areas to cook and eat, although no shelter really so if it rains everyone will be trying to get onto the only 4 benches under shelter in the whole site. Toilets are long drops, cleaned each day which is good. But always a queue as theres only two toilets in the campsite, then two more just off site in the car park. Bear boxes for food storeage is provided and bear proof bins, but they only recycle bottles, would be good to see other recycling facilities introduced in these parks. Can hear the train go through town as you can in all of squamish so you might be able to hear the horn at 1am as it travels through. But other than that pretty quite and the highway noise is relatively quiet. Cool location, pretty basic, but clean and seems well managed.
Good enough place. Great price for the area but it's not the prettiest or quietest campsite around. Portaloos, drinking water, bear boxes and tables. There's a cook shelter and washing up area too. Showers are available in the Sports Centre that operates it but you have to get there at the right time or it's $7 this includes access to the sports centre!
By far my least recommended place to stay in Squamish. First of all, it's way overpriced $26 for a single person!, the camp spots are very small and offer virtually no privacy from your neighbors and therefore, loud, there are only porta potties, and there are very few picnic tables to go around maybe one per every 4 spots. No wonder dirtbags break the law by stealth camping in their vans when this is the alternative.
Very simple camp site. Portable toilets and running cold water, but not even a mirror contact lense users miss that LOL Otherwise just a big grass field, close to main road, but far enough that you dont hear traffic.
Very basic - grassed sites no screening or privacy. Some have picnic tables and fire pits. Porta potties are available, two water spigots, a dishwashing station and a covered area with picnic tables. Good price for the area.
Very basic campground. Showers only on weekends allowed. Very small campsites with no privacy at all. No tables/bancs on each site. Way too expensive for this quality. Staff is friendly though.
It's not very big but sites are ok .they dont have bathrooms only port a Potties Great if you need a place that not expensive. Just dont go during a long weekend it's not patrolled so it can get loud
