Garibaldi Provincial Park

It was a tough hike for someone who has a smoker's lung. Apparently it is an easy hike too if you are active; takes approximately 3-4 hours to get up to the lake. There is also camp sites along the way to the lake which many hikers would recommend if you plan on tackling Black Tusk or Panorama Ridge. Note that the lake and the two other advanced trails will take you to an even higher elevation hence it is strongly recommended you equip yourself with extra gears to stay safe and stay warm.

This was the most amazing hike! The views are incredible up to Elfin Lake and I loved the hut we stayed in! There were other hikers but not enough for this to be too busy. Once at the Elfin Lake site you get to swim in a pristine lake and relax on wooden platforms overlooking the mountains. The sky at night is something to write home about as well! I had the best time here!

Spectacular place to hike. Great camping facilities including bear-safe food storage & enclosed shelters. The hike to Garibaldi Lake is approx 9km of constant uphill walking on a nice, well maintained track.

A long hike to a beautiful lake. We day hiked it multiple times. Bring lots of water. You can swim in the lake at the top.

Amazing place to visit! We want to go back to do some hiking in the future. It does not have much structure, but it's definitely an amazing place to go hiking with appropriate tools and some knowledge.
