Loved it here! The lake was beautiful with Mt Hood as a backdrop. The park was well maintained, vaulted bathrooms were clean even with the amount of day use traffic. Camphost Ken and Renee were great! They were professional and a wealth of knowledge about the area. They provided maps of nearby trails and other campgrounds in the areas that we might be interested in. Also gave us tips where the best fishing spots were (which we caught 3 in less than an hour). While kayaking on the lake we saw an otter (popped up next to my kayak), beavers, 2 bald eagles and osprey. With the exception of one group, which was taken care of by law enforcement, it was an overall wonderful experience. Will definitely be coming back!!

Amazing walk-in camping. There are no wheelbarrows or carts so be prepared to carry your stuff in from car to site. Great views of Mt. Hood from down on the east of the lake. Excellent fishing. Bathrooms left a bit to be desired.

This was probably one of the best rustic campgrounds Ive been to other than the locals who think that camping is drinking from 10am until 2 am and are angry because the camp host enforces the rules and makes people pay to use thr campground. The camp hosts are great people who work 10 to 15 hours a day making this campground somewhere where you can take your kids and enjoy a calm lake. Thanks to them, i will be back.

We had a great time besides the ridiculously drunk "family" campers that finally got escorted out by police and now are hosting a hate crime against the camp host's Ken and Renee. The campground is very clean, bathrooms are as good as they get, well managed, and "Camp host Ken" was one of the most friendly and professional people we have met. 7/21/17 - 7/23/17
