King of Donair

Amazing Donair. There’s a reason this is the oldest and one of the most popular franchises in Halifax. I was impressed at how much meat was stuffed into the donair sandwich. The sweet white sauce is quite unique. I really liked it. I think more veggies would make it better but I suppose they try to keep it simple with just onions and tomatoes. Donair Egg Rolls were really good too.

Great thing about KOD is consistency. We always get what your expecting. Been ordering from them for 21 years and will continue to order in the future. One of my go to spots for poutine as all well as donair.Food: 5/5

The King has the best Donair in town, hands up. Grab an extra bottle of Donair sauce and really slop it on there for the full experience. Add Chris Brothers pepperoni to mix it up, but if it's your first time go with the King's original vision with onions and tomatoes.

For Friday night my Donaire should not be sober black and I can't even eat it let alone they don't even give you enough sauce to cover half of the Donair I ordered this for doordash and they contacted the store this is my fourth time attempting to go to the Sackville King of Donair I will never waste my time money for energy on this place again it is completely black Donaire for a Friday night you think it would be fresh and ready to go I have never had Joan are so blessed in my life you are not the King of Donair at all

Extremely great food. KOD is place to go if you are hungry.

It's ok. Used to buy straight donair meat from them, but they're now ~$6 more per pound than any other pizza place. Can't justify that.

I ordered 2 medium 3 topping pizzas from the sackville location. Not only did it cost $39! But when I got home each pizza had only 2 toppings both pizzas were missing green peppers. Not only am I disappointed with the price but the missing toppings.

This was the worst donair I have ever had. Onions weren’t even cut up. Tomatoes were half rotten. No donair sauce I would never order there again

Great donair. They made it just right. Meat was not over cooked and the right amount of sauce. Yummy!Food: 4/5

I love the friendly service from all the hard workers. Great tasting food but, my favorite is the pizza. The donairs have gone down hill. Too much salt... even if I am too drunk to care it makes me feel sick. I switch to pizza.
