Boston Pizza is not my favourite place to eat, but the food was good, and we enjoyed our lunch. However, I think you can get better meals in other restaurants for the price. We believe it was costly.
Our son had a huge day and requested we go here for supper to celebrate. We were seated quickly, left with menus and told they would be over in a few minutes for drink orders. Over the next half hour we watched as others were seated, served beverages, and then served their food while we completed the activities in the kids menus with our kids. The service was laughable to the point where it was more interesting to see how long it would take for them to take our order than to bring it to their attention. After a solid 45 minutes of waiting, we ordered our food from another restaurant, we left and were very politely told by the staff to have a great night. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what we’ve come to expect. Kid-friendliness: The kids were asking why they didn’t want our business and made to feel unimportant… straight from the mouth of our seven year old boy.
Stopped in for a dinner date tonight . I was expecting just another average night but our server Brittany made the night one to remember. Service was great. Highly recommend!
So, normally we love Boston Pizza. We've been to multiple locations across Canada and have almost never been disappointed. That's not the case this time. We came to the Sackville location after taking the kids to see the Super Mario movie. We were sat in the lounge, which I thought was odd as we had 3 kids with us. Even more odd that there were 3 free tables in the main restaurant that I could see. The waitress took our orders but the food took a little while to come out. When it did, the kids' pasta was cold and one of the dishes was dirty. My wife wanted vinegar with her fries, but the jar had a really gross looking film around the spout. My pecan, pickled beet and goat cheese salad came out somewhat watery and very onion heavy. I had just had the same dish in Truro a few weeks prior and loved it. Fast forward to desert, the waitress forgot about one of my kids even though she had just brought out a container for his food. My wife tried to let her know about a few of these things while paying but she seemed disinterested. Probably not coming back to the Sackville spot.
Waiting staff were exceptional. Attentive without being pushy, returned to the table at appropriate times all round excellent. My wife is gluten intolerant and they have a great selection of suitable options.
MacKenzie gave me and my friends some of the best table service I've had at any chain restaurant. Not only did our entire table enjoy the meal and drinks, they were commenting on how great our waitresses personality was. 10/10 would visit again.

Our waitress, Catherine, was great - very friendly and efficient. We hadn’t been there in awhile and she recognized us right away. She made us laugh and we had a great time because of her.
