Kindercare Pediatrics

Kindercare is a fantastic clinic. They were able to accept our baby as a new patient days after she was born. Parking by the clinic is sometimes a challenge, but it’s a minor nuisance. We are seen right at our appointment time, and all of the staff are professional and friendly. We especially love the compassionate and thorough care our baby receives from Dr. Lavigne!

Dr Flanders has been our paediatrician for 11 years. We’ve seen his practice grow, offering more holistic essential services in one place. We appreciate the convenience and quality of this incredible clinic. A medical clinic for children. Let’s remember that’s what this place is and show some grace — this is not a restaurant or hotel where greeters are specifically hired to make us feel happy. Every one of us making an appt has a pressing concern. As a fellow parent, I get that we’re protective of our children and need to advocate for them - to us, no one else matters and they come first - but our kids are not the only ones in the room needing help. Let’s trust these medical professionals to triage and care for our kids the way they’re trained to do. Wait times can’t be predicted as some situations take longer than others. If your child needed more time/care, surely you’d appreciate not being rushed out so the next kid didn’t have to wait longer. It’s so hard to find doctors in the city nowadays, let alone great ones. With negative reviews and scrutiny, who would want to put in extra years of training just to be treated this way. Gratitude and respect deserves to be shown here. Thank you, Dr Flanders + Kindercare team. You are literal life savers and we appreciate you!

I have no words to describe the complete disaster of what our health system have come to. My daughter has been a patient at Kindercare since the day she was born, today my daughter is battling an ear infection, as usual we come to the Kindercare walk-in clinic during the operational hours, when we arrived at the walk-in clinic, we were told that no doctors are available. How is that possible that a pediatrics walk-in clinic has no capacity to see patients? how in the world is that even possible. We were directed to Unity Health, they had one slot available, a 3:30pm appointment, based on our location if we would have left immediately, we would be there 15 minutes late. This was a sensible solution that I was given as a parent with a sick child instead of getting help, I was directed to an alternate health provider which was unachievable based on available time. I still cannot comprehend how a sick child in pain was turned away without any help or assistance from an operating walk-in clinic...

Pro: I had an amazing experience with the Alex, a Lactation Consultant. She provided me with many tips and tricks that actually worked for me and my baby. Cons: No on site parking there is a Green P lot close by, communication with front desk is mostly done through email.

Had to visit a kids clinic as my daughter was unwell but it wasn't a need for emergency to visit hospital and our family doc was away. Went there just in time of appointment and was out in 15 mins. dr who saw my daughter was also very good and checked her thoroughly and made sure she is comfortable. Really recommend this place if someone needs to visit a clinic. Please ensure you take an appointment.

I will not recommend this place to anyone. They lack expertise. After 9 weeks of working with this particular lactation consultant Mary Biener she completely ignored me and said there is nothing that can be done after the first 9 weeks and thats it !! On my last visit , she couldn't even make eye contact with me. What a waste of time and energy only to hear this from a "healthcare professional". I went to another IBCLC and she literally fixed all of the issues we were having at 13 weeks.

Dr’s there are great. We’ve seen Dr Flanders, Dr Frangos and Dr Conway. Our main ped is Dr Rockman and she’s amazing. However, their office can be extremely disorganized and impersonal. Today, I had an appt with Dr Conway for an allergy test. 30 mins before the appt, I was told to bring MUSSELS to the appointment. I don’t live close, and I only scheduled to arrive 5 mins early. This left me scrambling to find mussels they recommended at a grocery store across the street but then these would be RAW which would be skin tested on my son? I tried calling them and emailing them to clarify but in the end, cancelled the appt all together as I got no response. This may have been a one-off but I was not impressed.

Amazing team of doctors. Modern and efficient clinic. I am so happy to have my pediatrician here.

Both my kids are patients of Dr. Rockman. She is an amazing pediatrician and my kids always look forward to seeing her!
