This is the most peculiarly run Food Bank in Western Canada. Food Bank recipients can only get a food hamper once every 2 months - & when they give it out, it's sooo huge, that if thaat family hasn't got the cupboard or fridge space to store it all, it's going to either go bad - or have to be given out to their friends/acquaintances because of lack of storage space. They don't help recipients that have pets, @ all, so I guess they just starve. Very small Emergency Hampers can be obtained 2 times in the 2 month waiting period - but it's not enough to really help. This Food Bank was not thought out @ all, & I have to wonder if anyone there, has ever been homeless, or living in confined quarters that won't hold a huge quantity of food once every 2 months. Completely dumb, & unthought about set up - probably by people who have never had to 'live the life'.
