Kicking Horse Kabins

Wow, Great cabin. Was well stocked, clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast basket is a great deal. Incredible stay

I was recently in a tough situation with my family looking for a last minute place to stay. I called Kicking Horse Kabins at around 11pm, and had someone answer the phone saying "HELLO? What the hell do you need calling at this hour!?" Understanding that it was late, I apologized and asked if there was any last minute lodging available, to which the person on the phone responded "No absolutely not" and proceeded to hang up on me. I understand that it was late on a Friday night, but my family of five was left without any place to stay and looking for a bit of luck/help. I am very disappointed with how this was handled - needless to say, I will not be trying this place again.

We stayed here three nights in August. The owners are very nice, accommodating to requests and are very friendly. The house is amazing and exceptionally high quality. It is large, private and has everything you need (all kitchen utensils, internet, full HD tv, hot tub etc). The beds are very soft and bedding comfy and warm. The only thing I thought needed looking at was the frying pans. The pricing is extremely good for what you get. We took up 2 of the 3 bedrooms and the owners charged only a half season rate for the second room. The cost for what you get is well worth it. Kicking horse mountain resort is about 30-40 mins away. The Golden Wolf centre is about 3 mins away and Golden is about 20 mins away. I would easily stay again and I would definitely recommend to friends.
