Bear Paw Lodge - Golden, British Columbia, Canada

For me this was the trip of a lifetime, this place is a little out of town but there are some very friendly neighbours. The Lodge is brilliant for a large family or a group of people who want to explore the area. I call it "Gods Back Yard" because I doubt heaven could be better. There is a great ski Hill just 20 minutes away of Kicking Horse and if you drive for about an hour East you get to Lake Louise and West for two hours to Revelstoke. The scenery from the back garden is just jaw dropping looking up at the mountains. I'd like to go back in the summer and rent a trail bike and explore some of the old logging trails. I was lucky enough to do it with a few people on ski-doos and try my hand at ice fishing. Fabulous! The house is great clean and tidy with a hot tub, so you can relax in the warm hot tub with a glass of "Crown Royal" as its -30 degrees when you get out of it in January. (Beer would probably Freeze). One has to do it to experience. Can you tell I'm a fan?

We rented the lodge in January 2017 liked it so much we are now managing the lodge
