Glenogle Mountain Lodge and Spa

Another couple, my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful night at the Glen Ogle Mountain Lodge and Spa a few weeks ago. Doris was friendly from the start and made us feel right at home. We each took a beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean room with a king size bed and walk out porch. We have never felt so welcome and I have never been greeted so warmly before. I felt like I was spending the night with my favourite relatives. The atmosphere in the main room was very inviting and pleasant. We enjoyed a nice drink at the main open area bar with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains socializing with Doris and other guests before retiring. The night was quiet and we all had very restful sleeps. In the morning the showers were exhilarating......then we were greeted in the main room by Doris and her steaming, delicious coffee. Norbert and Doris provided a wonderful breakfast…starting with more coffee, juice, yogurt and fresh mixed fruit. The main course was poached eggs (to perfection), Doris’ specialty pancakes (to die for) and huge tasty sausages. It is a 5 star accommodation and we all give it a 10+/10 with pleasure. We will definitely be coming back again – and as often as we can!!!

Very welcoming people they make your experience feel hospitable like your at home in a 5 star hotel. It is a place you shouldn't pass by. Gorgeous place, nice and quite getaway from everyday hectic live. A place your must visit and Explore

Our Foothills Master Swim Club (29 ladies) booked the weekend of Jan 30 - Feb 1st for a getaway into the mountains to enjoy some skiing, snowshoeing and relaxation. Doris and Norbert were wonderful hosts who greeted us with a smile as soon as we enter into the lodge. I found the lodge to be very comfortable and nostalgic with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The meals provided were well presented and very tasty. Love the homemade sausage with poached eggs, fresh fruit and yogurt in the mornings. Our last evening with them, they made us German dishes (names I couldn't even pronounced) that melted in your mouth that we were asking for seconds - very delicious and each dish had the right amount of spices. Good thing we were skiing in the morning to work off the extra calories! They also accommodated our folks that had allergies/gluten free. The lodge was very quiet, that I had no trouble falling asleep in their nice fluffy bed. Thank you Doris and Norbert for a wonderful stay.

Very nice rooms. No TV our room (#1), but there was a large one in the common area. Very quiet area so the sleep was amazing. Doris is a great host. Would stay there again!
