Kibo Sushi House

"Kibo means hope." I have ordered take out from Kibo on a regular basis as they have regular discounts, but chose to dine in with my two daughters who love sushi and eat it often. Parking: The parking was unfortunately under construction when we came on this particular visit, so we had to park in a side lot and walk over. Usually, there is ample mall parking outside the market doors. We went back a few weeks later and the parking construction has resolved. Ordering: My daughters are well equipped on what to order and how, but I was unsure. The wait staff were courteous, prompt and available for questions. They explained the menu layout and how to order. Menu: The menu is thorough with pictures and easily laid out. The menu items are available in a variety of options. For someone who isn't a sushi aficionado, I was able to navigate the menu easily. Staff: The ladies who helped us with the menu and ordering were delightful, well informed and prompt in their service delivery. It was like a well oiled machine. Plating: The food came out quickly and at the correct temperature. We were actually surprised at how quickly the food came out! The plating made us want to take pictures. Food: My daughters ordered hand roles and said they would order them again. We started with the Spicy chicken Kara-age. We all enjoyed the tanginess and crunch. The girls had a salmon hand roll and steamed dumplings. Also good. The sauces and dips were delightful and had my girls going back for more. We enjoyed dinner and will be back again. Their website says, "As we embed this belief [of hope] into our restaurant, from selecting fresh, local ingredients, to cooking them with love and serving them to your table with our bright smiles; we hope that you enjoy and appreciate all that we put into your favourite dishes.

Came here several times when visiting the mall. It took a couple of visits to find what’s best on the menu. The Udon combo is a real surprise to me. I’m not a big Udon person but my son loves it. I was surprised to find the tempura Udon combo had a full size tempura on the side not in the Udon noodle soup! also you can add a sashimi to the combo for a very reasonable price too. So it was the perfect combo for an adult with a small kid. We tried sushi pizza and other appetizers. They were all excellent which is rare for a mall restaurant. The food presentation is especially good. And very reasonably priced in today’s post covid inflation.

Food is always good, but if their cashier is little bit more kind to customers, that would be 5 stars great. The cashier lady doesn’t know how to speak the customers. Even I ask simple questions in English regarding the menu, she just said ‘I don’t know’ with her cold face and said I can’t speak Korean.

Ordered from Kibo via Uber Eats Pictured below is the sushi appetizer and the dynamite maki, which was buy one get one free. My bill came to $31 for 9pc sashimi and 10pc dynamite rolls. The sashimi was very good and beautifully presented, and the dynamite rolls were also pretty good but not as good as the sashimi. I could have done with more soya packets as I'm a sauce monster, and it would have been much more convenient if the soy sauce was already poured and came in little containers, because who wants to rip open a bunch of packets 4/5 stars - Will I ordered again? Hellz yea.

Sushi is always good and fresh, this place has great price for all you can! A wonderful example of FRESH ingredients artfully presented and well chosen. The wait was not long at all. The waiter is fast, friendly and efficient. I would definitely return and would recommend this place to everyone I know!!

Place with great sushi, beef udon and other meals. Have been there twice so far and it was always yammy and fresh. Not too pricey. Recommend this location.

Best sushi I’ve ever had!! I tried sushi at different places and I didn’t like any of them. I tried salmon tempora roll, butterfish roll and dynamite here at Kibo sushi and surprisingly, I loved each and every one of them!!! Sean is super knowledgeable and gave me lots of information and helped me pick the right sushi. It was an absolutely enjoyable experience. I will definitely come back! P.s. : It’s not the exact portion in photos I ate some of them and then remembered to take photos

The beef udon and spicy chicken karaage are very delicious. They also offer a great variety of sushi. Totally recommend this place

The sushi here was quite good, I was impressed with it. Extensive sushi menu and also udon noodles.

Fresh, tasty, great portion size, reasonable prices and friendly efficient service. You won’t be hangry for long Highly recommend.
