Nice and clean. Lots of options for bagels, sweet pastries, drinks, coffee and to-go items like flavoured cream cheese. Staff was friendly and the sitting areas were super clean. We tried breakfast bagel and smoked meat poppy seed and garlic bagel Both delicious and fulfilling. Beyond my expectations. Hope they keep it up!
I’ve been meaning to write this review for a couple months now. Came in looking to buy a dozen savoury bagels. The sweet girls at the front counter l, Sarah and Scarlet recommended I try the sweet bagels. I’ve never had sweet bagels and didn’t think they would be appetizing but the girls advised me to try them. They bagged me half a dozen bagels free of charge. I took them home and was quite impressed. I am now a long time customer just because of their customer service. They deserve a raise
We ordered online to pickup at 1:30am to find out in-store they didn’t have stock for some of our items, which is to be expected for opening week. They are very understanding and have exceptional customer service as they offered compensation by allowing us to have alternatives while also adding in a half dozen bagel and more! The food is fresh to made and great quality. It’s a blessing to have Montreal-style bagels close to home and open 24 hours.
It’s nice to have Kettlemans Bagel in our area. We did get all different tastes and a western bagel sandwich, everything was good. Most importantly the young lady, the cashier was very friendly and ready to help. Great customer service .
Really glad we have a Kettleman’s in Whitby. Clean operation. But more quality control for the product needed. With proper training the young staff will ramp up soon enough. Otherwise where else can you get a good selection of bagels 24/7 in this town? Montreal style too!!
We are so lucky to get a kettlemans in Whitby and it definitely did not disappoint. This place is located in a newly developed location and is very convenient to travel to. Although the area is a little small, it is perfect to dine in, grab a snack and head home. As we entered, the flow of the place was excellent. There weren’t long lines. As people ordered they were given a buzzer for when their food was ready. Although they were busy the meals did not take long to make - maximum had to wait was for 5 minutes. The customer service was amazing and very helpful. We ordered the Philly cheese steak bagel on onion. It was simply exquisite as the flavours complement each other. I’m addition, we got the cubano on onion bagel and the oven roasted chicken on onion. The honey mustard sauce on the cubano was amazing and I could see myself adding that sauce to other sandwiches. I would highly recommend the oven roasted chicken as well as it consisted of different flavours comprising of mayo and peppers. To end on a sweet note, we got the blueberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese which is absolutely delicious. Lastly, we had the raspberry cheesecake swirl. It was delicious and so soft that it melted in the mouth. Furthermore, this place has a variety of other goods that are available for purchase on the side. They have different kinds of cream cheese spreads as shown in the picture, loaf bread, snacks, all kinds of drinks and even sweet treats such a cheesecake and handmade fresh sweets. I would highly recommend this place to everyone and I myself will be buying more items from this place and I cannot wait.
We are big fans of supporting our local businesses but we tried Kettlemans for the first time and we’re not impressed. We bought half dozen bagels for $9.49 which is expensive. They were thin, hard and not that flavourful. The eat in experience looks like it could be better based on the other reviews. We will give that a try but hope that Kettlemans will improve on the single bagels as it’s a beautiful place and great atmosphere.
Great bagels and more. There are lots of options for bagels - which are delicious - and all sorts of other things - sandwiches, cream cheese, pickles, jams and more. Seating indoor and outdoorish seating if they open the garage doors. Watching the bagels being made is great for kids and adults too.
Very clean and appealing atmosphere. One of the servers we had was so kind and offered us complimentary bagels since it was our first time. The bagel sandwiches themselves were very good and filling.
Tried this place for the very irate time. Not a big fan of bagels but this was absolutely delicious. The Philly cheese steak bagel was soft and cooked well! The prices here are very reasonable. Staff here were also super friendly.
