- Old Porotta heated and packed. Tastes like soggy bread. Ordered 6 ones and got 4 full breads Porotta and two half breads. - Butter chicken was watery and had barely any chickens in it. - on top of this, the guy at the counter was super rude. Never again.
Take out joint for South Indian cuisine. Taste was very flavourful and unique and bold. Rice in biryani was not long grain and was breaking. Appearance and texture lacks as result but definitely a unique taste and flavourful. I can tell this was made some time ago and reheated by texture or meat. Not a bad thing at this price point. Malabar chicken was super oily and separates but has a bold taste. Really good I would recommend it. Reminds me of how my grandma use to make a curry her rendition of it. Both dishes weren’t piping hot. Seems like they were cooked ahead and reheated. My only complaint of an otherwise great meal at $21 for two dishes. Can’t beat that price point.
I ordered Chicken fried rice and my experience was terrible. The rice was overcooked and there was no piece of chicken. Really disappointed.
Food as well as the quality are not up to the par. I like the fried rice, Chicken 65, and the shake. Other items i tried, were meh..Food: 3/5
I have a special place in my heart for this restaurant. I have been a constant customer for the past few months, and without a doubt, Kerala kitchen consistently provides outstanding culinary experiences that endure. The Chicken biriyani is one dish in particular that has a special place in my mouth. The flavour has stayed consistently wonderful over time, reminding me always of the first time I had this dish. If you seek a place that offers an authentic taste of south Indian dishes, Kerala kitchen is the perfect choice.
Kerala Kitchen has been in Scarborough for a good while. The place offers Indian food, specifically from Kerala, India. There are numerous restaurants in Scarborough that offers Kerala foods. This place happens to be one that takes the most time to get something that you ordered. Once, I had to wait for an hour to get a Chicken Biryani. Needless to say, the place looks unclean as years went by. The place needs an upgrade. Their food too is medicore, as it is run by students. Some foods are a hit or a miss. There are better restaurants in Scarborough if you are looking into buying Kerala foods.
I had ordered beef biriyani from them recently and quantity as well as the taste was worth the price. Have tried other dishes as well from them and the taste is very promising authentic back home like taste..will be definitely order often and recommending friends as well! :Food: 5/5
Pathetic. I have nothing else to say. I literally had 5 small pieces in chilli chicken and with full water. Chicken was salty like hell and I almost puked. Couldn’t even eat it and I had to throw it out. If you don’t have item just don’t accept the order. I placed this order after work being so hungry. It’s very very bad experience and I will never order from this store
Visited Kerala Kitchen recently. Their chicken biriyani is the best. Really liked the authentic flavour of the biriyani. Beef roast and butter chicken is also top notch.
I ordered a buy one get one chicken biriyani through. When I opened the container first its smell was very bad. Then found a hair inside. Food was spoiled and there were several black dots in that and it smelled really bad. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Their taste is worse and their quality is worser.
