I love this park has everything that you could ask for. You have the playground Area along with the baseball field, trails to walk an enjoy nature, picnic areas even a spot to have a birthday party or family get together.i almost an forgot about the swimming area they have a half square dock it.the water isnt very deep tell you get into the far side of the dock then it gets kinda deep. The lake that you would be swimming in is called black lake by the way
This seems to be one of the few public parks with lakefront along Black Lake. Sadly, the park could use some maintenance; there is a bunch of invasive English ivy. The park is also fairly small.
Small, scrappy little picnic-and-trails park with a little beach in Black Lake. Across the street from the bigger playing fields. Looks like popular place to reserve covered spots for parties, including a small cabin.
I loved returning to this childhood favorite park of our now 9 yr old grandson as well as older grandchildren who have moved away. He was excited as we arrived saying how much he remembered it. He found a younger friend quickly. It's a real treasure in a quiet neighborhood. I've rarely seen it crowded. It's well-maintained and a lovely location.
We have rented Kenneydell Lodge in Kenneydell Park many times for various family events. We love the Lodge, it is a nice place, gas fireplace, full kitchen, plenty of room for 50 people or less. Good parking area. All nestled in a woodsy area.
Went with my family for a bbq and had an amazing time. It was so nice and peaceful. There was no drama, no homeless. The port a potty they had was clean. It was a wonderful day there to make long lasting memories.
This is a really nice park! There are 2 playgrounds, one is bigger and more for older kids, and the other is small and for ages 2-5. The water is warm and there's lot of room for people of all ages to swim! You can jump off the dock or wade by the shore. They even have lifejackets available to borrow.
Great place for the kids to play. Large grass area for picnics or games. Picnic tables and benches. A nice walking trail around the park and also connects to the capital lake. Bike riding/ skating, no obstacles. The play area has a zip line, with a weight capacity cable of holding a grown adult woman and child.
No one was here! Great play ground. Mostly fenced in. Big soccer field and baseball field. One problem: the drainage field next to the sidewalk. I don't know why that isn't fenced in? It would feel safer if it were.
Yeah. It's a nice park with a swimming area. Il However, it's a tiny swimming area. It was wall to wall with people and no room to spread out. FYI dogs aren't allowed down by the water. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as well. Leave this one to the teenagers and find another swimming hole if you don't want to share your breathing space with other people and hear their music and conversations, plus, cigarette smoke.
