My 7 year old great niece today wanted to come to this park. Lots of kids to play with, sunny too. We've been here 3 hours! I told a man it was smoke free and he apologized and put out his cigarette. Nice people here enjoying the day.

Love the waterfront board walks. My kids love the play area. The grassy area is nice to put a blanket down and hangout. Generally busy but it's so large it never feel a crowded or too much.

Good view of the Capitol building, the bay and adjacent to the private marina, which offers boat aficionados a charming view. The park has nice, new play structures and eye pleasing sculptures. It's close to good restaurants and shares a parking lot with a great wine store and a fresh seafood market, as well as being close to the Olympia Farmers Market. Nice grassy area for playing or lounging in the sun. Public restrooms and water fountains.

I decent boardwalk but plagued by a sleepy homeless population in the mornings, they've mostly cleared out around noon so if you're planning a walk with family it may be better to go in the afternoon. Offers some cool sights of boats and lower Puget sound though and the lookout tower is an interesting stop.

Great park with amazing view of the marina. Public restrooms are pretty sketchy and have no doors on the stalls. Playground is nice and everything is maintained. Easy to wall up the docks or over to the capital lake park. It remains the most popular pokemon go location of the South sound.
