Decatur Woods Park

My children really enjoyed this park I like that there is a separate area for the smaller kids to play. It has a nice kid friendly trail that has activities along the trail for kids to do. There is a picnic table and a restroom.

It's a small beautiful park. Nothing too special yet if you really think about it any park in Washington is beautiful. Through skateboarding I've traveled many places in this country. I'm lucky enough to have family here and grow up here for a bit. All I'm saying is every park in Olympia regardless of square footage or conditions are amazing. The air and the water are better and as a resident and a son of a husky fan I'm proud to say the parks are better here as well.

Stopped to check it out. Even with snow we had fun. Good for small kids.

Nice park for walking a dog or a two year old. Learning trail help with the two year old.

I am not sure why everyone is saying this a great family oriented park. The actual playground structure is wonderful. The activity that occurs in and around the park? Not so great. I have been there on more than one occasion and seen issues with major drug and crime activity. At one point the bathroom was closed and locked with a sign on it saying “closed due to illicit activity” EVERY single time we have been there, multiple people have been in the bathroom using drugs or doing god knows what. Haven’t been there in months and refuse to go again. Have had to call the police several times while there.
