Kelseys Original Roadhouse

This was our first time with the new menu and at Thunder Bay Kelsey’s. We often go to Kelsey’s as we can count on a good meal. First of all, I would like to point out how good our waiter, Callan was! He obviously has read previous reviews as he could not have given us better service. He even offered us water, which a previous review mentioned. He showed an interest in us in a very positive and yet professional manner. He was a wonderful host, made us feel at home, with a friend but also gave us prompt and friendly service. Well done! It’s a difficult job you have and you made it look easy. We had our “usual” for comparison with our regular restaurant in Barrie ON. Adding the shrimp to the spinach dip was a welcome change. It added a special flavour and moisture to the mix. Looking forward to having that again. I liked the grilled blackened chicken in the balsamic chicken. It really added some flavour! The vegetables were nicely done as well. The rice with the salmon was a “touch” salty but we are not a fan of salt, so very much a personal taste thing. The salmon itself was moist and great flavour. We hope to come back in our travels and this will be a definite stop for us. Sorry the pictures are not showing the full plate, we couldn’t wait for our first taste…

It was a gorgeous day to sit on the Kelsey’s beautiful patio! The food was good and all just the waitress really hated her job and it was very obvious. She didn’t smile or really engage with us or ask us how anything was just took our order and took payment. And would love to see more plant based options on the menu! got the veggie burger and it was good but more options would be nice. Drinks were good and very large. If you have a chance when the weathers nice this is a very nice patio!

There's ample parking space which we liked. We had a short wait time. Our waiter was really nice and friendly. She helped us with our order. My date had the Bacon Bourbon BBQ Burger while I had the Ultimate Bacon & Cheese Burger. The food was good and we liked the ambience of the place. The wait time for the food was a decent amount considering that the place got full quickly. The place was great with the music playing at a nice low sound while the TVs were showing different tv channels. It was a nice and relaxing brunch that we had. We'll be back to try out other things on the menu.

Went there with a large group of people for a birthday celebration. Our server Kodi It was incredible. He was engaging and entertaining and took care of our table very efficiently. It was a great experience! Great food and great atmosphere.

Kelseys has a nice atmosphere and a good draft beer selection, the Patty Melt is very good. Also Kelseys has very friendly and amazing staff, especially Dayna. I always enjoy walking into Kelseys and seeing Dayna as one of the servers. She's funny, knowledgeable and takes pride in her job. I love Kelseys forever

Had a great experience at Kelsey’s tonight. Jessica was our server, from start to finish she had an enthusiastic tone creating a warm, hospitable environment. Promptly visiting our table throughout our night, she ensured everything was nothing short of great. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Jessica

Just ordered $21 and change chicken and beet with feta salad..worse salad ever for that crazy amount of money. Looked nothing like the photo only got 4small sliced chicken and just a sprinkle of feta, absolutely do not order. This is the last time I will ever order from Kelsey's again.

Came to Kelsey's for an after work drink and had a wonderful time. Brie, my server, was friendly and personable. The staff, Dylann and Noah, made sure I felt welcome and convinced me to come again. Highly recommend this place.

Callan was the absolute best server from the very first moment! He mostly went above and beyond for our 8 month old son. He was accommodating for his drink and meal, he brought a wine chiller with hot water to warm his bottle which worked amazing! and ended with a warm welcome to come back anytime so he could see him! Our son may only be 8 months but the feeling was mutual, numerous times we caught him peaking around the booth when he heard Callan talking or saw he was close. My husband and I were so blown away, outstanding service. The best we've ever had, hands down! Kid-friendliness: Callan and other staff came up to our 8 month old, they were all very friendly and engaging with him!

Only 4 on atmosphere as there were renovations going on that were a bit distracting. Everything else was great. Waitress was friendly and fast. Food was delish! First time having a hamburger there and was not disappointed.Food: 5/5
