Mongos Grill

First time here when we stayed in Thunder Bay for one night. It was a good experience. We could choose the ingredients by ourselves and the kid’s price was very reasonable, 7.99 all you can eat. You can choose as many as you want as long as it does not overflow the bowl. It also has all you can eat option. Like this place.

Stopped here on my trip through Thunder Bay Ontario. The staff is absolutely amazing. So kind and polite. The chefs are a hoot as they are so into cooking for you that they make it fun to watch. The food is AMAZING!!! I would defiantly go back next time I'm up North

Great Experience. Went for my Birthday Lunch. First time visiting the restaurant. It was my new experience for trying, picking my food and sauce and grilling it infront of us. The service was really great and price was reasonable too. Since it was my first time i couldnt explore a lot. But their choices was pretty good.

Could’ve given these guys a 5 star even before tasting the food! So friendly and helpful with the selection of ingredients for the fried noodle. The food was absolutely delicious. I finished it all although it was quite a big portion!

After reading the reviews I thought I would give it a try. I went around 5 pm on Tuesday and it was not to busy so I thought the service would be good. NOT! I waited at the front as two servers walked passed me without a word. Eventually I got seated. Service is a 1 star This is my first time here and will be my last. I found the quality of food very poor for the price and the food area was dirty and not restocked. Overall not worth the price.

First time coming here and I absolutely will be back! Food was amazing however giving a 4 star due to the service from the wait staff being very slim. We had to ask 3 times for takeout containers.

I am a stir fry guy. There is no conceivable way that I could give Mongo’s Grill a rating under 5 stars. The server could spit on me and call me names and I would still rate the maximum amount of stars. All the ingredients you could ever want for a stir fry is at your COVID free fingertips. If I end up being underwhelmed with my stir fry, that’s on me. Maybe I should have a better strategy when building my creation, you know? Gussy it up! The staff are very good at what they do. Also very friendly while they’re doing it. I enjoy the process of building my meal, then watching as the cooks maneuver around the big grill frying up multiple stir fry at the same time, tossing eggs around and having a good time. They will make your stir fry into a wrap or provide you with other additional options like egg or rice. Never disappointed or hungry when I leave.

First time trying this place. Absolutely amazing waitress so sweet and friendly! The cooks sweet and friendly to. We took the bus for and adventure since we flew in. It was supper chilly. They hooked us up with an local driver! Those guys were great to!!!

This place used to be incredible. It was one of my favorite places. But unfortunately, due to penny pinching, it's lost substantial value. I used to go every month or so, just on birthdays, to almost never. The food is good, but the value is poor.
