First time customer there last week. The food was great! as well as the waiters and waitresses. They were super nice and very welcoming. We went for a big family supper, 27 of my family members. I'm happy with the experience. I will definitely be going back, there were a few things on the menu that I want to try. It was very nice in there, I liked how the lighting was, and it's just absolutely beautiful inside. I never seen a restaurant like it before. You got to go there!
Great atmosphere and very good service. Its a white tablecloth dinning experience but casual attire is fine. I had the prime rib, a taste of the ny strip and they were excellent. The best steaks I have had outside of a higher end and price steak house in the states. Definitely will be coming back if I am looking for a good steak.
The interior of the restaurant is really amazing and the host & server was really nice and friendly. She helped us picking the drinks and some food. The food was great and i really recommend their seafood section too. They have a great apptzrs for starters and also great desserts after the dinner. Vegetarian options: One of my friend who is a Vegetarian tried Vegetable meat loaf and was great
The cauliflower appetizer is SOO AMAZING!! Appreciate that the server was able to suggest modifications for plant based / vegan options and they were very good and very filling. Steak done to requested doneness. Service was good and atmosphere was pleasant.
A friend and I made 'last minute' reservations for dinner on Sunday 15th at the Keg. Upon our arrival, we were greeted in a warm, friendly, courteous manner, and were seated immediately. Greeters 'set a tone', and we certainly felt welcomed & well attended too. The Manager, Kyle K, also was present at our arrival, and too was both thoughtfully attentive & welcoming! Our Server, Nadia, presented herself at our table almost immediately, and she was friendly, very helpful with the menu selections, attended well, and was very efficient. She also gave us 'the time' we needed to make our 'menu choices' without any pressure to time. The meal arrived in a very timely manner, and was 'super delicious'!!!! Not sure who the cooks were on Sunday night, but that was absolutely the very BEST Prime Rib dinner either of us has ever been served. Overall a GREAT Experience!!! Thank You for always 'reaching' to be better!!! Much appreciated!
I was here with my husband for "date night" and the bar was slammed. The two bartenders handled everything beautifully. The service here is amazing and is the reason it is our favourite place to come.
This was a great dinner on the usual Keg style. That is great service, steaks and drinks. We didn't have a reservation but with Covid restrictions it would have been a good idea. The seating is socially distanced so noticeably less seating. We were offered seats at the bar which was just fine with us and allowed us to watch the bar staff in action. Service was terrific and staff very friendly.
It was my first time trying food from the Keg tonight, and unfortunately I was really disappointed. We ordered a medium rare steak, and it was well done . The blackened chicken was well over cooked; so hard and chewy. The beans were a mix between over cooked pieces and some, just not cooked at all; crunchy and cold. Shrimp and scallops were also cold and undercooked. The only saving dish was the calamari. The spicy sauce with cilantro was really great. I probably wont be eating here again. Not by my choice anyway. Super dissappointed. It is not at all what its been hyped up to be, especially for fine dining.
The service was impeccable, couldn't have asked for more. Was a little disappointed they were out of the filet wellington, had my hopes up on that. Overall the food was good, exactly what you'd expect from a steakhouse, twice baked potato side was awesome, and the creme brule was fantastic. Definitely not an inexpensive meal but we had a good experience and enjoyed the meal.
Although the restaurant was busy, we didn't feel cramped. Setting was intimate and stylish. Waitress was brand new yet seemed to take the job seriously. She did mess up, however, right away she took ownership of her error and apologized immediately. Cheesecake wasn't bad yet I would have preferred cherry....unfortunately raspberry was my only choice besides chocolate. Bill Miner was a hit.
