Very well kept, the outhouses are very clean. Has a nice stream running close by for your water source.

Day Use Lot-I didn't camp here-only parked in the day use lot to hike. If you are wanting to park here you need to get a reservation the day prior and they stop taking reservations at 2pm. If you don't have a reservation, you can show up at the gate at 7:05 and get a space if any are available. If you do have a reservation, be at the gate by 7:00 or they will give your reservation away.

If you plan correctly, and comply with the simple and sensible rules, you will enjoy your stay.

Busy but that's because it is a great campsite and a good place to start from if you're going to hike Katahdin.

Super friendly rangers just make sure to book at least 2 months in advance.
