I had a delightful dining experience at Karahi Point on Finch Ave. The food was exceptionally flavorful, and the service was friendly and attentive. I especially loved their karahi dishes; the spices were just right. The ambiance was cozy, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal. I'll definitely be returning soon!Food: 5/5
Please don’t get me wrong. But the food lacks flavour. The butter chicken tasted like flavoured water. The chicken biryani tasted like fried rice with turmeric. My expectations were for the food to be “rich” in “flavour” but, honestly not sure what the hype is about for this place.
We went here on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was almost empty. The food here was really tasty. We ordered the following: Chicken Karahi Dark Meat, which is essentially Legs and Thigh - 9/10 Naan - 10/10 Lassi - 10/10 Lahori Fish - 10/10 Everything was really well made, and serving sizes was decent for 2 people. The food was a bit pricey, but I guess the taste compensated it for us. We'll try the Peshawari Karahi the next time or the BBQ one as they seem more tasty. The staff was polite and their wash rooms were clean as well. It's definitely worth coming again. Vegetarian options: veg options are available. Dietary restrictions: halal friendly Parking: a number of spots available in front of the restaurant Kid-friendliness: somewhat. Wheelchair accessibility: yes.
We have tried Karahi point on Islington too. Wanted to visit this location since so long but finally had a chance to try them. Good food and service. The only thing missing was cleanliness. The bread’s bucket was full of mold and dirt. We have tried daal makhani, chicken kabab, roti and drinks. It took them more than 35 min until we get meal on our table. Kababs were full of flavour and juicy, daal makhani was good too and rotis were pretty filling . My suggest for the restaurant would be: Please try to focus more on cleaning. Whatever comes at table should be spot on, So the customers won’t feel gross while eating.
There was no waiting for the table. We went during the week and the ladies were very attentive, gave recommendations and answered our questions. The food was really fresh, spicy but sooo good. The dinner for 2 came up to $101 after tax and we had leftover for doggy bag. The owner, Nadim came by our table and chatted with us. They stopped giving free naan with every dish ordered. Will definitely go back again.
Amazing food, service and ambience. Very accommodating towards our requests. We wanted to switch tables and they allowed us too. Food was out of this world will visit again someday!Food: 5/5
Its one the best Karahi Point locations. Been going to it for few years & food quality is consistent. Kudos to the chef & hope Thorncliffe location gets better soon. Lahori fish was very tasty, chicken boneless karahi was perfect so does the butter naan. However, beef sekh was worst & undercooked. I could see red-pink meat. Not a unique taste so please improve it. Great ambience & seating space. Highly recommend if you are craving Pakistani Desi food. Dietary restrictions: Halal
I went to this place for my birthday. The ambience and service both were great. The starter options were really tasty but i didn't feel the Chicken Karahi was worth the hype ... it was little salty for me and less in quantity as per the price. The garlic naan and butter Rotis were really awesome. I would say it's worth a try as compared to other restraunt options.
Must visit! This restaurant is going to set your expectation off a Pakistani restaurant really high We ordered - Karahi Lamb - Chicken Bihari Boti, - Tadka Daal, - Garlic Naan, - Butter Naan and - Mango Lassi The dishes are portioned generously to share. We shared our order amongst 3 adults and a pre-teen, still we had food leftover which could easily serve another child. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the food was served within a a considerable amount of time. Highly recommended for meeting your Karahi cravings. Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options available for those who don’t want to eat non-veg. Parking: More than enough parking space available to the customers visiting. Kid-friendliness: They offer various spice levels. The generous portion sizes are to be shared, so no need order extras for the kids Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has a ramp and disabled toilet facilities. There is enough space in the restaurant to accommodate wheelchairs
First time here and we loved it! We ordered the Lahori fish, beef kebabs, dal tadka, and karahi chicken. Everything was so delicious. Authentic desi flavors, beautiful restaurant, and great customer service!Food: 5/5
