Visited Phamilyeats this afternoon with my wife and young child. We found out about this location thru their neighbouring ice cream store Churnt Up! When they ran a anniversary raffle, raffling off different prizes and gift cards from the different vendors at the same location. During the live stream of their raffle, they talked about the amazing Patty's and pies here and I dug around and read a BlogTO article about this patty shop and thought hey! I have to try this! We visited the location on a Tuesday, and found out they are close on Mondays and Tuesdays. My bad for not researching and just assuming they were open. Returned today on a Sunday afternoon, and most of the shops here have a little remote bell to ring them. Seems like there's a hidden back kitchen where most of the different restaurant concepts are working making their magical food! We ordered a mild beef patty and the chicken pot pie. My daughter loved the buttery, flaky chicken pot pie crust. The filling was plentiful, juicy, and full of flavour to go with the chicken and carrots inside. The pie was served hot and very fresh. almost burnt myself eating it too fast! On to the mild beef patty that I ordered. Nice beef and beef filling. I'm used to a bigger beef patty, so a bit sad there, but it was a very nice juicy patty. After eating the chicken pot pie and the patty, we purchased half a dozen frozen ones to go.
Outstanding pies - the best short rib pie I ever had so tasty, with lots of meat! Chicken, beef, banh pate so and patties are all great!
Such amazing beef patties and pot pies. We ordered a variety from them and they were delivered very smoothly! The pastry is deliciously flakey and the filling is fragrant and perfectly seasoned. The patties also freeze very easily and and keep for a while which is great since it is hard to finish a big order! We will definitely purchase these again!
Best beef patties I've ever had hands down! Their home made hot sauce was the bomb. Owner is a super nice great guy. Will be stopping here everytime I'm in town
Patties are good but the pies are where it's at. The beef pie is literally perfection. And at $11 it can't be beat.
After a long wait, we finally received our order from PhamilyEats a few weeks ago. The Spicy Beef Patties were definitely delicious. The filling was well seasoned and the dough perfectly cooked. However, the Pot Pies didn’t live up to the hype. The fillings tasted quite ordinary and the dough didn’t appear to be cooked quite evenly at the bottom.
Must try their beef pot pies, such a awesome comfort meal. Very Viet inspired filling, so familiar! I think is bo kho Beef patties are pretty decent. It’s like a meat pie, who doesn’t like pastry filled with meat?
Both the pot pies and patties are fantastic. The pot pie crust is the perfect level of flaky and the filling is super tasty and creamy. The patties are unreal. I love all of them, but my favorite is the spicy beef patties with unique seasoning and spices. Enjoy!
This was our first visit and we are now believers. The patties had wonderful flavour and the pastry was perfectly flaky.
I’m no patty connoisseur like other Torontonians but I love their spicy beef patties! I love how the pastry is crispy and flaky. But my favourite items here have to be their pate so when they’re available and the short rib pot pie. The short rib pot pie has a unique flavour to the filling which reminds me so much of pho. So unique, not too heavy like other pies. Love this place!
