Wonderful date night experience with my wife. Staff service was a little bit slow, but the food selection and flavors were excellent. Highly recommend the oyster shooter and the gyoza as part of the meal we had. Very delicious and flavorful.
Phenomenal! Great service, great food, great vibes. My food and everything those at my table had was delicious. The green tea mochi ice cream was especially awesome to me. Good portion sizes too, so though everything is moderately priced you're getting good bang for your buck. Only downside I think the cocktails were just ok, but next time I'll just save and drink water because everything else was fantastic
The restaurant is nicely designed. I went with a group, and we were comfortable and able to associate and talk to everyone in our group. The waitress was helpful and friendly and the food and drinks were very good.Food: 5/5
BEST FOOD we have had in Chicago. And Reiley was by far the best server we have ever had. HIGHLY recommend this place!
The food was very nice. They started with the miso soup. In the chicken bento box they provided chicken, veg fries, sushi, shashimi. The food was enough for dinner. It cost around 30 bucks for dinner. For brunch probably they might have a different deal.
4th time eating at Kansaku. As always, very warm and welcoming environment. Kansaku offers very tasty appetizers along with excellent maki rolls lobster king and Carnival!! Service was quick and friendly. Definitely coming back again!
Excellent sushi with a broad array of creative options. Service was prompt, friendly, helpful, and sincere. Atmosphere is soothing and inviting. Our party of six all found something we loved. Vegetarian options: Very tasty vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: My kids are getting older, but they were welcomed and treated well. Dietary restrictions: One member of our party is on a low sodium diet, and the staff worked hard to accommodate that. Another is no dairy, which was easily accommodated. Yet another needs softer food. Again, there were lots of options.
Very good, fresh sushi. We had sushi and ramen here and it was really good, probably the best in Evanston that we’ve had. The dessert was beautiful and good, I recommend Exotic Bomba as something different and good. It’s fruit sorbet with which chocolate and just as good as it sounds.
The most beautiful and plentiful bento box lunches. Generous sashimi choice came with amazing miso soup, ginger salad, rice, katsu pork, california roll and jasmine or green tea. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and cozy yet bright ambience!
The service is always great! Kevin was our server and he even remembered us from a previous visit. The food was delicious!! This definitely my sister and I's happy place and now with covid they also have the outdoor seating. Inside the restaurant has great ambiance!
