We were on our way to Salt Lake City from Jackson. I enjoyed my Sushi roles, they were very quick, and pricing was reasonable. My daughter didn't eat her starke, and the side vegetable was too saucy. The young lady who waited on us was friendly so was everyone else. Pretty safe & quick eating stop.
*Phenomenal* customer service. Our family had been in the car for 9 hours and chose a booth on Sunday night. Every staff person was very kind, made the kids feel special, and gave us several balloon poodles. Sushi was great, and the serving size for the seaweed salad was very generous. Our kids are going to think every other restaurant is utter garbage in comparison for the rest of the trip.
Ichiban is awesome! We feel like family when we visit. The food is always great. The waiters and waitress’, the hibachi and sushi chefs, everyone is great. They bring my kids gifts when we visit and the sushi chefs even showed them how they make little panda bears out of oranges! This restaurant is a blessing to the community of Evanston. Thank you for making us feel loved!
Tried that place tonite... humm I guest took the wrong dish, way too much cooking oil !!! The manager offered my dish for free, so I gladly accepted it. Pleasant atmosphere and lots of tables, sushi bar and a bar facilities. Ask how its made before ordering your food.
Great taste and good amount. Tried Japanese fried rice with shrimp, avocado salad and shrimp teriyaki. Loved it while eating but at night my stomach got really upset.
Awesome sushi and super friendly service. Be patient because everything is made fresh. Best hand rolls I ever had especially spicy tuna hand roll.Did not care for fried calamari. Just too much batter not enough squid. Sashimi salad is awesome! Will stop every time possible!!!!
Always had friendly service here, and the food's great. The chicken teriyaki & rice is great, miso soup and salad are excellent and the sushi I've ordered was fresh. Hot saki is great with the meal. Keeps me coming back when I'm in town!Food: 5/5
Stopped at the truck stop next door for the day. Hopped over to the restaurant at around 7pm and had a amazing meal. It rare that I get to eat at a good place driving over the road but I always cherish when I do. I recommend soaking up the atmosphere while you are inside because it's about as relaxing as it gets. Hope my times line up again to allow me to stop here.

10 stars on everything My husband and I are always over the road in a semi truck. We parked next door at the Pilot truck stop and walked over. To say it was worth the walk is a massive understatement. It was a pleasant place to enter, VERY clean, and the decorations and decor are just fabulous!! Beautiful crystal drop chandelier that changes colors and the rest of the furniture was modern and clean. We both ordered off the Hibachi dinner part of the menu. My husband got the Salmon and Steak and I got the Chicken and Steak, and then we got a side of shrimp to split! I also ordered a side of noodles. The salad and soup they bring out before the food was delicious, fresh crisp lettuce and the soup had plenty of onions and mushrooms in it, as well as being a healthy portion. They brought the side of shrimp next and it was unlike any either of us have had before. It had a really good ginger glaze sauce of some sort and came with a sauce that is the equivalent of "the yellow sauce" that similar hibachi grills provide with meals. It was so good, everything in our meal from the steak to rice was good in it! Our food came quickly after and it was fantastic. The picture says it all! It tasted even better than it looks and it looks fantastic! His salmon was literally out of this world! Had some type of a almost a honey flavor crisp shell on one side but not sweet, it was perfect and just amazing!! Our steak was great, chicken was juicy and cooked tasty, the rice was very tasty and fresh, and the vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly and trimmed well! No weird peices, no hard peices! Perfect!!!! They brought more sauce with the meal as well which was needed. Remember that side of noodles I ordered.....well they were great!!! but it was a HUGE bowl I think it was $4-$5 but it was a dinner size serving of just noodles. As far as prices it is VERY reasonable!!! Both our dinners were $25 each, mind might've been $24 but close. Oh and we both got an additional 2 peices of shrimp with our meal!! They were fresh and tasty big round noodles! We loved our experience and will definitely be back if we are ever able to stop in the area. Kid-friendliness: We didn't order any kid dishes but I noticed that they had a good amount of choices for kids that aren't just nuggets and fries, actual hibachi dinners, just kid sized
