The storefront and building doesn't look like much, but if you can get over the aesthetics, this is a great grocery store if you are looking for excellent prices for groceries. Sometimes if you come just as the store opens, you can score some unbelievable deals. For the most part, this store is cash only. Not a problem as it helps them keep prices down. Overall, if you're willing to make the trek here, you will find some good deals.

Very great experience, fresh vegetables and fruits of decent price, and various kinds of Chinese food that I missed so much, definitely will go many times!

This is one of the classic Chinatown West groceries. Everything from cookware to cabbage is for sale. I mainly shop for produce here and if you do too you will know why. Better selection in quality and variety than all the grocery chains. A little crowded compared to a chain but don't be shy. If you want to make your purchases more easily bring some cash in your pocket, they take cards but have to reach minimum purchase points.

Great prices for produce and meat. Their prices are so inexpensive as compared t o the major name brand stores that overcharge for Produce to canned goods. KAI WEI supermarket has been my grocery store for 5 years now and I love it

Get everything you need here. Incredibly fresh produce with a lot of things you can't get anywhere else. Decent fish and meat. Cheapest place to get pork belly. All of the spices, herbs and dried things you could ever need. Sauces, marinades, oils, pastes, vinegars and cooking wines are there too. Can't beat 5 packages of frozen dumplings for $10!

Good. One of the Chinese supermarkets in this area. Cheaper price than regular groceries store. I like it. Diverse food, especially Asian vegetables, foods and spices. Apart from Chinese brands, I have found many Vietnamese and Korean foods here. This is a Chinese supermarket so only about 50% of staff know English. But they're friendly. A pity is the late opening hours 9:00 am and early closing. Why not open an hour earlier 8:00 am and close a little later? :

All about groceries and fresh produce for Asian community. Very low pricing and large collection of products. Check the quality, some are about to rot/expire.

The products are of low standards and the place is not clean. The traditional supermarket is not up to average standards of Torontonians. The price, though, is among the lowest in the city. Cash payment is requested in half of the cashiers. Paid parking is available in vicinity. Visit here if you look for a super economy purchasing.

The produce selection is great here. You’ll find a lot of Chinese, Caribbean, and south Asian vegetables here too. Loads of noodles and sauces are available here. The staff aren’t friendly. Don’t look for customer service here, it’s a no frills kind of place.
