Great little independent grocery store by Canadian celebrity chef Mark McEwan. Store has a variety of unique products to select from. Many you my not see anywhere else in the city. Hot table in the back has a wonderful selection options for lunch that are all well made and very tasty. Sold by weight. Prices are a little higher than rest of the area but quality is so much higher it is worth it.
Amazing customer service and a great place overall. The food is second to none and definitely worth a visit if you are in downtown Toronto. The sushi is a personal favourite but anything you get from the hot station is going to be well worth it. Be sure to grab yourself a latte also as they make exceptional vanilla lattes. Overall it’s such a gem!
I really enjoy the fact the chef allows his food to be tasted at a more reasonable price. That being said, the food was good. Nothing I would pay an arm or a leg for. If you are going, their curry lamb is rather good and I do appreciate the restaurant charging by the weight of the take-out container.
I give it 10 stars! My son and I enjoyed the gourmet buffet pay by weight. There is a wonderful selection of fantastic dishes, including perfectly toasted beef, chicken, pork, pastas and much more. It is worth making a detour to go here.
Excellent variety and high quality prepared foods every day. Fresh sandwiches, wraps and sushi up front, and hot buffet and salad bar at the back. Great staff. You won't be disappointed!
Great spot for coffee! I go here every day and the coffee always tastes great and the staff are very friendly and attentive. They also have a great selection of fresh baked goods, specialty grocery items, prepared meals and mini grocery store for any need.
This amazing store which i found out is opened for more than 7 years is amazing because importantly all the employees is amazing and wonderful. Got to give a huge shoutout to Kirby the store manager who is running this store with true passion ! he puts his customers first ! he listens to what the customer needs and i truly thank him for the amazing shopping experience ! And it was a last minute event plan i will definitely go back ! if you see Kirby don’t be shy to say hello! he is super friendly ! the food is soo delicious and worth the visit ! the bakery items are all so fresh! everyone at my event said they enjoyed the treats i picked up form McEwan at the Path!
McEwan's TD is the perfect place to find whatever you need downtown food wise or even if you need a greeting card. no balloons though Incredible and artfully designed desserts from Delysées can be found here as well. My orders are always right, and the people regardless of the level within the store are wonderful, helpful and friendly! McEwan's also does catering. This location also has a diverse hot lunch buffet with all types of ethnic food. you pay by weight No one will leave hungry from this place! And they have great music playing in the background so you can do a few dance moves to help you shop! Great experience!
McEwan’s has one of the best cold coffee drinks I’ve ever had, and they also have delicious boxed meals that range from heavy foods such as lasagna to light ones like salads. The store is well-organized and items are easy to find and the employees are always helpful. I highly recommend McEwan’s.
The food is always very flavorful. I especially like the Caribbean dishes, the curry beef, the oxtail, even the Asian dishes such as lemongrass chicken on my favorites
