It's called 'Kaffe 1870' you'd think there would be COFFEE. Nope. I don't get it... But the waiter was great to tell us before hand and suggested a place a cross the street for coffee. 2 stars for being polite, honest and for suggesting something for us. But maybe change the name...

This Place is one of local favourites in Wakefield village. There's good food on the regular menu but they take things up some notches offering feature food nights and pop-up dining nights for a trendier flare! Well liked and respected staff are knowledgeable attentive to cater to your tastes in both food and drink (nice section of various spirits) . Live entertainment makes the whole experience with the welcoming patrons much more enjoyable!

Great atmosphere, food is reliably delicious portions are generous. A favourite with the locals and a real part of the community.

Staff are always friendly (and often funny), the music is excellent and you can't go wrong with food. Great place to stop and unwind !
