Juzz Sushi

Yum! I enjoyed a solo lunch date and people watching here. I sat at their garage door/window as I ate very basic and yummy maki. The avocado rolls are perfect and the California rolls good too! I kept it very simple, so I cannot speak to the quality of their proper sushi, but others seemed to be enjoying it. They don’t carry teriyaki sauce, which was disappointing. Staff were attentive and lovely!

Went here for lunch and although the hostess was slow to take our order, once taken everything else was superb. Our drinks and food came.very quickly. I would highly recommend the sushi lover lunch. It was very large, and the salmon was fresh and large portions. The salad and miso were also both great. We also got gyoza, edamame and one vegetarian roll cucumber, avocado, yam tempura with mango on top. All of these were also great.

Best sushi I’ve had in a LOOOOONG time. Partner and I were staying at an AirBNB in Leslieville and was looking for some great food. The owners recommended we check out Juzz Sushi. When we arrived after a short walk, we were promptly sat down and our drinks order taken. We opted for water but then ordered cold sake. The sake was reasonably priced, went down easily, and paired nice with our dinner. We ordered four rolls: torched mackerel, torched salmon, juzz bomb, and spicy tuna. The torched salmon was a bit more spicier than I thought it was going to be, but, regardless, all four rolls were phenomenal, ESPECIALLY the torched rolls. Definitely give this place a try, whether that be for take-away or sit down.

Two words: TORCHED SUSHI. They have the best torched sushi in Toronto, in my opinion. Every time I get their torched sushi I'm in awe of how delicious it is. I have ordered from here probably a dozen times in the last few months. Their pick-up is super convenient and they seem very organized. This is my go-to place for some fresh and delicious sushi!

Well, we all need a "go-to" sushi place to order or dine-in that is close to where we live. In Riverside/Leslieville, Juzz does the trick for us and many others. Very good food, reliable, friendly, not over-priced, and a decent Sake selection. Hope it stays for a long time.

Low quality sushi... taste ok, it's not an authentic Japanese restaurant. More of all you can eat style quality type, huge rice, thin fish, ok presentation. If you are looking for a quality and authenticity, there are better options in the neighbourhood. If you don't care too much of authenticity and just want to fill stomach, it's ok. Music was too loud, service ok, value not so much.

THICK RICE, THIN FISH, OVERLOADED WITH SAUCE. DON'T ORDER HERE. Quality has significantly gone down. Used to be my favourite sushi place in the east but since they moved, the quality is not the same. The price increase is not worth the quality degradation. You might as well just eat mediocre ayce sushi.

Great location for a date night. The staff is welcoming, positive and efficient, they go above and beyond to ensure you are having a great time. Excellent food with fabulous presentation.

Pro: Good Sushi, fresh, lots of options Cons: limited seating, tablet can be confusing Great little sushi place in Leslieville. The menu is big enough to keep you from getting bored. Everything tastes very fresh and the presentation is beautiful. Booths are spacious, even if seating is very limited. The tablets might be a bit confusing if you've never or rarely ordered this way, but the servers are more than happy to guide you through it. All in all, a good little place to try.

It’s a nice place. Small so don’t go if you are a group of more than 4 people. Big chance of not having anywhere to sit. Kitchen is fast and service is good. Sushi is ok. Considering price I would say is pretty good. Really recommend the pressed torched salmon.
