If you've never tried Mexican sushi before, you definitely need to hit up Sinaloa factory. The food here was absolutely flavorful and delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made some great recommendations for beginners. Love the artwork on the walls and the vibe of the place.
The place had such a great atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was amazing! They're definitely worth the price. The birria tacos were great and the sushi roll that we got was a great fusion of Japanese and Mexican cuisines. Overall, I had a great experience and can see myself coming back.Food: 5/5
5 of us had a fabulous meal here tonight! We had never had Mexican sushi before...it's a real thing... and every dish was great. Portions were large, and the menu is HUGE, with something for everyone. We shared all of our dishes. Highly recommend!
Hola! Mexican here. I loved this restaurant. The service is so amazing! The food was very good, huge portions, enough to take home for an extra meal depending on your appetite, of course. The place is very clean, too. The Mexican food is actually very authentic and it came out fresh and fast. I highly recommend it to all. I will be going back multiple times. Quick warning: the refill drinks are not "natural" Jamaica or Horchata, but great value for the price. Think of them like a processed flavored drink. Recommendation: Ask for the specials of the day. Super good deals. We went on Tuesday for the $12 three-taco special.
My preferred Mexican restaurant along the Danforth, I've been to Sinaloa breakfast, lunch and dinner. While their Mexican offerings are pretty tasty and good, the standout is easily their unique Mexican sushi and rolls: fun, flavourful, filling. Start with the Sinaloa and Tatito rolls and go from there - you won't regret it!
We came to try Sinaloa Factory on Danforth after all the hype of their Vaughan location. The concept is fun - Mexican style sushi. However our experience was bitter sweet. Our server was very polite, interactive and told us of their buy one get one Wednesday special BOGO free roll for every 2 drinks on Wednesday. So we got 4 drinks and she said 2 rolls were free. However, our receipt at the end showed 4 rolls and she said actually our rolls didn't qualify for the special. This should've been clearly stated or clarified when we placed our order with her. The rolls themselves are good at best, the filling to rice combo is overwhelming with rice. We got 4 rolls, one of which was the princess roll which their menu says has spicy chicken on top. Our princess roll came with crab, which I have an intolerance to. It would've been good to know that their menu isn't always exactly the same as the product. Also, note that hot sauce is $2 per portion.
The food looked nice, but really was not tasty. Mexican sushi is a fusion that needs to get unfused, quick. The decorating is nice and the service was friendly. Everything on the menu has cream cheese, and way too much of it. There is very little sushi inspiration here, other than the shape of the food. The rock shrimp was delicious, similar to ebi mayo at an izykaya. My pineapple margarita was also good, but not $15 good. But it was downhill from there. The rolls we ordered - myl and birria - and the Mexican spring rolls, were honestly terrible. The myl roll and spring rolls had way too much cream cheese. The birria roll sounded promising but was greasy. The mozzarella cooled and stuck together so it was really hard to eat each piece without it falling apart completely, and the shredded beef was super dry. Won’t be back, unfortunately.
The food and service was good! Our server was friendly! Some of the juices were bottomless and very tasty. Only thing I would change is have a menu option to try 3 different tacos of your choice so that people can try different ones and also maybe add bento boxes to the menu with a Mexican flare.
Went here for the first time this evening...service was great and food order came out within 10 minutes. Great decor and soft mexican music playing in the background, all aroundnice atmosphere. We had the spring rolls [my fav dish so far] and hubby and I had some tacos. I was a little disappointed that the chicken taco was deep fried but the carnitas were delicious and as was the beef taco. Delicious hot sauce- not white people spicy lol... really hot n spicy which we love, even took the little amount of hot sauce home it was so good. I would for sure go back again in the near future!
Loved this place, the food was amazing and our server was super friendly and helpful. I never knew Mexico has a traditional sushi dish! Get the Sinaloa roll for sure, and try and of the other rolls to explore. We got the aguachile roll and it was great. Will definitely come back! Also they had great home-made ice teas/drinks, definitely try those too.
