Great little park of 606 Trail. Great climbing structures, no swings or slides. Some open green space, water fountains, cool spot
A nice, clean, easily accessible park with good seating, shade, and a bicycle rack. It was easy to get to from the trail, and a nice turnaround or break point if needed.
It's a very nice little park for kids who live climbing.
This is a great little stop for young people who love to climb. There are only three objects in the playground; a rope spider with a trampoline in the center, a plastic butterfly for climbing and a shallow fiberglass spider. It's good that there are water fountains, especially if you choose to walk the 606. Not the best for young people who have short legs and limited mobility. There are often, but not always, teens hanging out there relaxing, discussing inappropriate content for younger children.
This is a cute little Park that is off the Beaten Track. In the middle of the park is a spider web-like structure with a small trampoline in the middle. I have seen children and adults alike using this as their playground. Thankfully the ground underneath is a cushioned rubbery surface so anyone who may tumble out of this is not likely to get hurt. There also is a small climbing structure that can be very popular at times. During the week this part is not that crowded, acid is mostly used by locals in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, there is now an entrance and exit to the 606 Bloomingdale trail, so a lot of runners, walkers, bicyclists and disrespectful pet owners have discovered it. If you want to enjoy the park come during the week, forget about the weekends as it is overrun with too many people who do not respect or clean up after themselves or their pets.
Sparse but fun. Gets the boys tired enough to be chill the rest of the day. Would do 5 stars but sometimes people on bikes whip through too fast to and from the 606 as though there aren't children at the playground...
This park is awesome!! There is a mural of a puertorrican poet created by Moriviví. Love it!
Great park for little kids and saying hi to your neighbor. Divvy station and access to Bloomingdale Trail make it fairly busy.
A small play area with limited structures the main feature being a rope pyramid for climbing. Conveniently located just off the 606, it's a decent place to give kids a break from their bikes though not necessarily a destination worth visiting if not close by.
Definitely not the biggest park in Chicago, but it's always clean and great for small kids if you just want a short visit to air them out. Also, great views of the city from there. It's a cute little neighborhood park.
