"Julep Kitchen is North Georgia’s newest Farm to table restaurant. Nestled into 22 lush acres in the Valley in Rabun County, Julep Farms is a modern resort that features highly appointed rental cottages, multiple event venues for Weddings, rehearsals, showers, corporate events as well as a very full special events calendar. We are a working farm, sourcing much of our menu locally. We grow our own herbs, have 40 chickens, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 Shetland ponies, 2 miniature Southdown babydoll sheep. We also have a flower farm & gardens. Lastly, the julep Social House is a 10,000 retail market, ballroom, bar & restaurant. It also houses Julep Market, which is an upscale retail market and coffee/sweets bar."

Julep Kitchen is an absolute treasure for the Dillard / Clayton area. The prix fixe menu option elevates the experience. I enjoyed an amazing wedge salad with house-made bleu cheese dressing, the bone in pork chop, and the bread pudding paired with a cappuccino. My wife had the shrimp & grits. Everything was delightful. I can’t wait to return. Reservation highly recommended.
10 of us went to the Social House for lunch at Julep Kitchen, to check it out, and we were all glad that we did! We had a variety of the menu options: Parmesan and Truffle Fries, Mixed olives in Herb butter, NC Smoked Trout Dip, Chicken Salad Croissant, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Gigi’s Brie and Bacon Sandwich, Mojo Pork Sandwich, Shrimp and Grits, and a burger. We also had some Bread Pudding for dessert. Very good stuff! The silver cup in one of the pictures is a Rosemary Lemonade Julep, the chocolate swirled whipped cream in a glass is the Chocolatini. Yummy! The food was all very good and appropriately priced for the quality of food, atmosphere, and presentations. The staff was very friendly and caring. The attached shop is addicting with all of the cool stuff that you will want to take home! They deliver the check in books that diners have made comments in, which is very cool! We loved the grounds and buildings. Very well kept, warm and welcoming. I don’t live nearby, but next time I am in the neighborhood I will definitely stop by for another fantastic time and meal!
Wonderful anniversary weekend! We dined at Julep Kitchen several times over a weekend in October. Everything was just perfect. The drinks, shrimp and grits, the crawfish fritters and the desserts were all really good. The carrots and Brussels stole the show! We also stayed in one of their cottages which was very nice and super convenient to most of the area attractions including a quick 25 minute drive to Highlands. Rick,Lauren and the whole staff were all very nice and accommodating. Thanks again.
Great food in a beautiful place that reminds me of 30A Destin and Panama City Beach, FL Unlike any place in the mountains of North Georgia or Western North Carolina. Please try the shrimp appetizer. Amazing!!! Staff have been consistently great to us. We have also met new friends just about every time
An idyllic dinner that refreshed the soul. We dropped in with our 3 rambunctious boys and golden retriever and the staff was immediately welcoming and invited us to sit on the verandah, brought a bowl of water to our pup and gave our boys the run of the field just beyond. The waitress was like an old friend and had no problem asking the bar to make a custom cocktail with all fresh ingredients for myself ask for the cucumber martini and brought lots of water refills for my sweaty tribe. After devouring our starters of the bread platter and Brussels/carrots our meal did not disappoint! They even went back into the kitchen to make homemade honey mustard for our youngest’s chicken tenders! Once we were throughly satiated and relaxed from cocktails with an impressive view, we took to the farm for yard games, animal visits and flower fields. If you are looking for incredible food, beautiful views, southern hospitality all amongst a refined and yet relaxing atmosphere… you have found your place at Julep Farms! Oh and don’t miss the perfectly curated gift shop! The robes are to die for, the artwork superb and the gifts- unique and special!
After driving by this place many times, we just stopped for lunch. So glad we did. Food is exceptional. Chicken pesto pasta very light and freshly made pesto sauce. Shrimp and grits with Cajun season. Phenomenal! Highly recommend trying it if you’re into spicy food. Stop in, you won’t regret it.

We loved this place we had such an amazing dinner on the patio the food was amazing the service was great ... They welcomed us with our pup and brought her water. She had a great time as well. The grounds of the farm are beautiful.
Best birthday brunch ever, I has the most delicious baked goat cheese sofrito , first time having a sofrito or even knowing it's existence and it is literally the best aromatic form of tomatoes as a dip! It also had a unique flavor with I believe turmeric and I'm a huge fan of Indian food so this dip is an Mediterranean with a incredible Indian twist. For my entree I had the everything bagel board which had local homemade bagels with smoked trout and all the nova lox fixins. And for the finale since it was my birthday, I had to try the homemade creme brulee, which was really really good. Apparently I have never had real creme brulee because it usually comes in a custard form while this one was more creamy milky. All I have to say is wow for this place, I highly reccomend anyone visiting the area to give this place a try! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread
Julep Farms is a dream! The property and restaurant are beautiful. The food is amazing with friendly staff, & the gift shop is full of cozy home goods. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. I highly recommend a visit.
