Exceed expectations. Very delicious food, super friendly staff. Great place to celebrate and make unforgettable memories.

Highly recommend Daryâ. We couldn't have had a better server, very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, even given how busy it was in there. If he was busy, who I can assume was the restaurant manager, would check in to make sure our waters/Drinks didn't need to be refilled. The food was delicious. We started with the fried cheese and the calamari. The fried cheese was amazing, didn't even wait to take a photo of it before we dove in . Calamari was also great, but the fried cheese definitely outshines the calamari. For our larger plates we had the jumbo shrimp and octopus with a shared bowl of basmati. The octopus was great, the donair sauce paired surprisingly well with it! The basmati was surprisingly good, half an orange is provided to squeeze over the rice and it adds some really great additional flavour. For dessert we had the semolina custard and the labneh ice cream. Both were delicious! I'm looking forward to going back and trying some more of their menu items. If you're looking to have a fine dining experience, I think that Daryâ has been a great addition to that scene in Halifax.

Wow. Darya is an incredible addition to Halifax. The decor and ambiance was out of this world. The food and service was outstanding. We celebrated new years here and look forward to returning quite a bit! Congratulations on your success!! *portions are beautifully presented and are quite large. But you will be wanting more, the flavours are “chef’s kiss “

Impeccable service by the server and manager, knockout cocktails, and very tasty shareable dishes. Can’t wait to return to try other dishes and cocktails. Absolutely recommend ordering the bifteck, warm grape leaves, smoked eggplant and chickpea dips with their bread. Lindon tree cocktail is perfection in a glass. La Parfumerie was amazing also.

A new gem on the Halifax waterfront. Beautiful decor and view and delicious food. Make sure you get the donuts! Our server, Oliver, was knowledgeable and attentive. Only giving it a 4/5 since prices were a bit higher than what we are used to.

Amazing food , decorations and vibe . The Humus is so creamy and rich , and their lamb kabab is to die for . A mixture of turkish and Moroccan food . Highly Recommended

Great atmosphere and wonderful location. The tables for two are extremely small. The music played throughout the restaurant is quite loud which makes it difficult to hear dining companions and the serving staff. Food was delicious. We had calamari, pasticcio and the grilled octopus. Wine selection was very good as well. They have two types of chairs. I had to request the second type as the first one was snug and uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although our server made a mistake in our order and I assume it's because of the noise level in the restaurant. But the maitre d offered us to keep the dish regardless on the house, but we turned it down as we had enough food as it was, and frankly the table just wasn't big enough. The maitre d would walk through the restaurant what seemed like every 30 minutes or so with incense that, to me, smelled like an oil furnace had exploded. It wasn't a nice smell, in my opinion.
