I have been coming here for decades but never made a review. This is based on my last visit. We were seated in the lower lounge area and it was hot. The AC didn’t reach us but the server was amazing. She gave us lots of ice and ice water. The ravioli with steak and shrimp was so good, everyone ordered it and raved how good it was. It was definitely a must try. The truffle fries here wasn’t very good, it didn’t have any truffle flavour. Lastly the apple pie has lost its super power. I remembered it was so orgasmically good before we would pack an extra one to bring home. The crust wasn’t as flaky, size is smaller, and not as much apple filling as I would like. It was also too sweet and drenched in caramel sauce. The ice cream was what saved it.
Haven't been in many years. Great to be back. Complimentary sparkling wine at the front desk. Lovely service - everyone and anyone who works there will help you, take your order, bring your water etc. Service is friendly and they have a wonderful team approach. High ceilings make it a tad noisy inside. Free parking. Accessible.
That was our first time at Joeys Coquitlam. I chose it to celebrate my birthday party with friends. Everything went smooth and Riley was the best, making our night amazing! He brought the most impressive birthday dessert I've ever received and rates amazing. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone at my party had everything they needed. The only thing I have to point out is that the dishes are quite small for their price when compared to similar restaurants. I've ordered a delicious T-bone picture for $52. Otherwise, nothing to say. We're most certainly come back in the future!
Service was outstanding, nice and friendly. Brought water to the table without asking, informed us on the most popular things on the menu and made sure to tell us about happy hour deals. Our server enjoyed chit chatting and making us feel comfortable as our food came. Food was fresh, delicious, and hot. Crispy Chicken burger and chili chicken was 10/10 best fries iv ever eaten from a bar/pub
Our waitress was wonderful. She was very helpful and super nice. Food taste delicious. Ribs were warm when came out. Prawn and lobster ravioli tasted amazing. Apple pie was to die for. Crust so crispy and the filling had lots of flavour. This is my first time at Joey Coquitlam and the best tasting Joey I have been so far.
Went here for father's day lunch. The server was very kind and attentive. But more importantly, my dad really enjoyed himself here with the 14oz NY strip + beer. He rarely says this but said he would go here again.
Great ambiance, very attentive service, diverse menu, average dishes. Came here on a whim and would recommend. Everyone was very welcoming the moment we entered. Food came out quickly. The cod was pretty good; equal portions of rice and protein, could have had more veggies, savory but light. Butcher sandwich dip was underwhelming for sure. The bread was barely toasted, sauce was a bit too salty, but the French fries were perfectly crispy. Overall, food is a bit pricy for quality , but the service and ambiance made up for it.
Enjoyed the food and service. Very accommodating for our reunion. Had to make a phone call for reservation for more than 6 but all went pretty well. We ordered the tuna poke bowl and their famous hand pressed burgers as usual. Will be back for another reunion for sure!Recommended dishesTuna Poke Bowl, Burger
Our server Marley was fantastic. She really made dining there a great experience. The food was so good. The cook did an awesome job. I ate over half of the Ravioli before I took the picture and the Creme Brulee cheese cake was wonderful. Thank you to the server and the cook and prep cooks. I will be back. The Bellini drink was great too. My grandson had the chicken strips and fries and lemonade and he loved it.
We had our Christmas party here and the food and drinks were bang on but the service was lacking. I believe they did not anticipate how much we will order and they assigned only two people to a group of 50. Overall a great experience.Food: 5/5
