Food is hot and fresh, staff are really nice. And the location is super clean! I made a mistake on my mobile order and they were really helpful with correcting my order. Definitely make you compare the service compared to popeyes across the street. Would recommend this location!
Delicious get protein though chicken carbohydrates through bun and definitely fats as being deep fried but acceptable in a cheat day The golden-brown breading is sand-fine, lightly crispy, well-seasoned, and appropriately crumby—and the breading-to-filling ratio is spot-on. Breading is easy to get right, though. What about the actual chicken filling? Home run. Like, my first bite was so similar to what I remember the real thing tasting like that I actually got a little grossed out for a second, forgetting I wasn’t chewing actual animal meat . There’s a real endorsement of their authenticity for you! The texture and mouthfeel are spot-on: a little juicy, a little tender, a little chewy. The taste is enjoyable in an unremarkable kind of way. It’s mild, yummy, fatty, inoffensive, a little salty, chicken-y but not CHICKEN-Y. Overall, these “Mary Brown’s Nashville Big Mary” are hard not to like, easy to keep popping, and begging to be dunked in ketchup or slathered in sriracha.
Where do I even start. I walked in expecting the same old death stare as you normally would at any fast food restaurant, but when I got here I was greeted by Jenna at the cash register and I felt extremely welcomed. I mean, talk about Grade A service. I came on a Monday which meant there was a special on the spicy chicken sandwich and ergo de facto - that’s what I ordered. I ordered a combo to spice things up and she recommended the wedges and I spotted one of my favourite drinks - Pure Leaf! When I opened the bag, I was delighted by the aroma of fresh, local, grade A chicken and I couldn’t help myself from taking a picture! As I indecisively sat here deciding whether to go for the wedges or burger first, my final instincts told me to go for the wedges. I took the first bite, and man, the crisp took me by surprise. But like a good surprise, it wasn’t too salty or too bland. The balance of savoury goodness and crunchiness gave new meaning to these home grown taters. Now onto the burger, my first bite was out of this world, no, out of this universe! I fell in love with it instantly, the crunch of the chicken gave the crunch of the wedges a run for its money. Both were amazing but the spicy chicken sandwich hit different. The pickles and spicy mayo were a great accompaniment! The spicy mayo confronted my tongue with a nice kick. However, unlike a kick to the groin, this was a kick to heaven. A strong, flavourful kick with both accompaniments proven to be challenging flavours and complimented each other very well like Bert & Ernie. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Mary Browns! There was a dirty spot on the floor that I noticed when I went to the bathroom and Jenna came to clean it. I was impressed by the service and friendliness by the staff here and would highly recommend!
Had a hilarious mess up, put my pickle on top of the burger instead of inside it, made me laugh so hard that it went back around to being amazing, 5/5 would uber eats again
This location specifically, I had great service and really good quality food served. Their taters were so yummy, not salty. Their chicken and sandwiches were nice and juicy. Their popcorn chicken super crispy. Highly recommend this place for a fried chicken meal!
Review would have been a 4, except upon arriving at home we realized some items had been missed. Made a list of the missing items, left the food with my family begin eating and returned to the location with the receipt and the list of missed items. Upon informing staff if the missing items, the counter person was very apologetic and helpful. We were then approached by who I can only assume was the kitchen manager to inform me we would have to wait until "the manager" could review the footage because "he made the food". So here I sit typing this review instead of sharing a meal with my family. We used to come quite regularly, I think we'll have to reconsider in the future.
Finally got my mobile order after 20 minutes from my pick up time …. I get it you’re busy. But you obviously see the app orders and Uber orders and don’t change the pick up times or cook more chicken to keep up. So fast food today took 40 minutes for 8 pieces of chicken, taters and gravy. As for the Uber orders, don’t blame them tonight they were sitting around waiting
I'm redoing my review. I originally gave this 3 star based on prices. To be fair prices are high everywhere. What I should be is reviewing mainly on customer service and quality of food. Mary Browns has an app you can get good deals but also order ahead. I ordered the frosty feast good value for family sized dinner. I ordered on the app and the amazing part was my food was ready according to the app I was in and out picking it up. My food was still hot and fresh when I got home and everything I ordered was there. It was also packed well. Mary browns is now my go to for fried chicken
I was very disappointed with this location. The chicken , fries and wedges are too oily, no taste, you can only taste the oil. Mayo tastes sour. Wedges taste too old . I had stomach ache and felt nauseous after i ate the meal, too much oil.
This location was way better than the other location I went to. The buns were soft, chicken was juicy and tender. The spicy big Mary wasn’t spicy but it was tasty. The big Mary was delicious. Service was fast and they’re Halal which is great. They were pretty busy when I got there so good thing I ordered over the phone and my food was ready. Definitely would come here again when I’m in the area.
