Clean and has what you need, connected to the home hardware. Carts are outside. Bilingual. Things seemed high priced but maybe that is just inflation or the cost of delivering to a remote area. Kind staff. We went here anytime we needed Groceries 20 min drive at 90km/h from where our cottage is located

Picked up some groceries while I was in shawville yesterday and bought a pre made Cesar salad, bagged Cesar salad and a box of croissants. The pre made Cesar salad was disgusting quality, the bagged salad was disgusting and the croissants were rock hard. I spent 260$ at your store and threw food out I had purchased within 2 hours. I live over an hour away so I'm not gonna waste more money in gas to return your crappy groceries. Never ever will I shop there again. Now I'm scared to even eat the meat we purchased due to obviously quality control issues in your store

Today in their flyer they had steak on sale , none on shelf asked young man in meat department, he brought out 12 packages containg 2 steaks and gave them all to one lady, leaving the rest of us without any. Meat manager response was no more till tomorrow. The store should limit on sales. Many disappointed customers left without steaks.

I want to support small-town, local stores but Valu-Mart isn’t a reliable place for groceries these days. They are perpetually out of basic things like broccoli, Diet Coke, 2% milk, etc. A lot of seniors who can’t drive drive or can’t drive beyond the town depend on this place for their household needs and aren’t being well-served.

A great store with everything and more. Friendly country style employees.
