Jitlada

Operated out of a commissary kitchen so only offer takeout and delivery. Ordered online to pick up at a scheduled time. Authentic dishes with balanced flavours. Not as salty and oily as some other Thai restaurants. Portions were adequate for the two of us. Worth a try!

Came to Jitlada to show my friend this amazing restaurant. I've been to Jitlada before and because of the amazing service and quality food, I keep coming back with different people. Every person I've brought to this place has had great experiences with the food and service. I usually order the Cashew Nut Chicken because it has become my favourite dishes. Portions and flavours for the chicken are good and the chicken is moist. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes quality food and good service.

A very tiny and dim place. Can be loud and you can hear what other tables are talking. Good food but don't expect big portions. I ordered the Hor Mok Talay and it was tasty seafood curry. Free parking is not easy to find. We ended up parking in the neighbourhood a few blocks away.

Horrible! The food was soo sweeet!! Service was very bad! We waited a long time for everything! Even for the bills! We were a large group of 10. So service15% i think charge was already included. Maybe That's why we got no attention from the server! Except us there were 2 other tables taken with 3 people in total! The owner was talking to one table the entire time we were at the restaurant. Suddenly she stands in the center and screams at everyone asking if the food is ok and if we need anything!!! The only dish that was ok, was the the vegetables. The seafood curry was never came in a coconut as some pics suggested! They stopped doing it 1 year ago! The pad thai is the most disgusting dish. It was literally filled with sugar and nothing else. We couldn't even finish that! It was just soo bad! This restaurant has such good reviews everywhere. I don't understand why!!! Never going back again!

Tasty Thai food with friendly service! Portions are slightly on the smaller side, but the flavours make up for it. I wish the curries came with more sauce so that I can make the meal last longer.

Jitlada has always been and still is a 5-star place. From your first time visiting you will not only leave with amazing food in your tummy but also with a smile because of the service. Pam is an absolute delight and provides a service, unlike anything I have ever seen somewhere else. The food is absolutely fantastic, by now we’ve had pretty much every dish on the menu. Our all-time favorites are the crispy spring rolls, the Basa fish with Mango, Aroy-D Jitlada and the Chicken Swimming Angels; just to name a few. Oh and don’t forget your Thai Iced tea! It has been rightfully voted as one of the top Thai restaurants in Vancouver in the last years. This is the only restaurants where we take all of our visitors and so far, all of them wanted to come back a second time.

Great lunch spot. Their lunch specials were yummy and satisfying. The pad thai is made with tamarind : Really impressive service too. The owner lady really hustles and bustles!

I'm visiting from the Philippines and was craving Thai, I've never had food like this since I went to Bangkok! The green chicken curry is creamy and has the perfect balance of coconut milk and spices, the chicken is moist and cooked perfectly along with the vegetables. We also ordered the cashew nut chicken and it was simply delicious! Both dishes go perfectly with their rice and we couldn't help but order a beer and some Thai iced tea to wash it down! The Thai iced tea is amazingly light but full of flavor. The staff is very accommodating and hospitable, they are more than happy to suggest dishes for you. Food came faster than we expected as well. My girlfriend loves Thai food and I might propose to her here when we visit Canada! I highly recommend this place.

Delicious, but too sweet to me. Gave them 3.5 star. Dish portion only for 2-3 persons.

This is my go-to Thai restaurant when doing take-out. They make the most amazing gluten-free pad thai, so flavourful and the medium spicy is the perfect amount of spice for me. They often throw in a free rice pudding which I devour, so good!
