Jackson Lake Lodge

Best viewing location for the 2017 Total solar eclipse by a mile. They were extremely well organized. Lots of amazing sites to set up for viewing. Great restaurant after the eclipse. Incredible views. We would love to stay there someday.

The Lodge is stunning. The people are genuinely gracious and caring. However, the details fall short of a 5-star rating. Our room had small fruit flies or other dead insects in the bathroom and behind the blinds. Not sure I would opt for NOT having my room cleaned for the sake of the environment.

We had a very nice stay here! The energetic staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were terrific and the scenery was right out of a postcard. The food and drink options will not leave you disappointed either. It was a little crowded at times but the cottage area is very peaceful and you're never more than a short walk from peace and quiet. Be sure to go to the overlook early in the morning for wildlife spotting!

Although the views are absolutely breathtaking, it is not well advertised that there is NO AIR CONDITIONING in the lodging portion of it. Nor do they explain that one of your windows is a screen and doesn't shut and it gets cold during the night. There is no TV, which was not idea of my family with younger children. The beds in our rooms were tiny to share with 4 people. Pretty place, but only worth staying for one night. You definitely pay for the VIEWS and not for the amenities.

Came for an eclipse event! The food provided at venue was good and the view from upstairs of the Tetons is amazing. Stayed in the surrounding cabins, rooms were clean, spacious, and nice. Only minor complaint was could hear sounds from surrounding neighbors. The Lodge also has activities you can book at the desk but some you need to travel to the location such as the scenic lake cruise and there are not really any convenient shuttle times from the lodge to the cruise location. I'd definitely recommend renting a car if possible or planning accordingly.
