My husband and I both had the elk chili - - and it was fantastic. We also had the Pig Whistle salad (which has nothing to do with pigs, btw). It was delicious, if a bit small (it's more like a side salad). The ambiance of the lodge-like atmosphere, combined with the fully-blazing fireplace made this a very special experience.... but I truly believe that the staff were the real superstars of this production. Excellent service with light conversation and plenty of smiles. The only draw-back was the price. But if you're willing to pay for the experience, this is a great place to be. We really enjoyed our visit, and will definitely return!

Pricey, but great at everything. Rooms, cabins, camping, restaurant, store $$ but good quality. Some of my favourite trails for hiking, horses, & bikes. Winter sports also down Grassy Lake Trail, close parking.

I stayed here in one of the non-electric tiny cabins. It was convenient and the price was much better than a full room. The facilities we're pretty clean. There's no wifi or cell reception so it forces you to unplug. Jackson and the other lodges are only about 30 minutes away so it's easy to get to fun things to do.

We camped and the campground was nice, just a little close together and it was WAY too much for one night of tent camping. The showers we're free to use and they had on site laundry. We also went and had dinner in the lodge and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. It is a good option if you want to stay near Yellowstone or can't stay in Yellowstone due to it being full.

Nice camp grounds.  Sites were gravel and pretty level.  Each site had a fire pit, picnic table and lots of trees around.  Beautiful walking trails and lots of wildlife.  Good location if wanting to visit both Yellowstone and Grand Teton's.  It is quite a drive to get to some of the sites in Yellowstone - the park is only 2 miles from the entrance but then it is another 20+ miles to sites in the park.  Very expensive -$77.00 per night for full hookup.
