This resort was voted the best mountain in North America. Huge mountain, great snow and huge cliffs. The tram is super fast and goes up thousands of feet in a few minutes. Great Resort!

This review is for the ski area, when I go on a ski trip its what is most important to me. The Mt is very large and has incredible terrain. I have been here many times, it never grows old. Yes the tram line can be insanely long but I usually only take it once or twice a day and stay high on the mt. Riding the chairs. You can also take the gondola and get to the same chairs. To me if you dont like adventure skiing, are not a stong skier this may not be your mt. There are some great groomed runs but for me thats not what JH is about, its the steeps, chutes and trees, just a great mt. JH is an expensive mt. in general and not the first place I think of for a family ski trip, the passes are over priced and dining is also high. Its like eating out in NYC price wise. The weather can also be very. cold. This all said it is my first place i think of for a trip with my friends, its expensive because its a top ski area and people are more than willing to pay.
