Jack Astor's Bar & Grill

Dinner at Jack Astors was spectacular. Izzy our server was super fun and charismatic! She recommended the cheesy garlic pan bread, which was fantastic. The atmosphere was a great vibe while we enjoyed our drinks. The buffalo blue cheese crispy sandwhich I would highly recommend and I will definitely be getting it again.

Our favourite go-to place for great burgers, steak, and nachos. I’ve always loved food and general atmosphere at Jack’s, and this place is no exception. Their burgers are amazing, particularly the Holy Smoke BBQ Burger. My wife loves their Grilled Cajun Salmon. Kids enjoy their poutines and nachos. Service here is exceptionally good.

Their computer systems were down that day, so our orders were taken on paper. After waiting for around 30 minutes, we were told that our orders were lost paper fell on the floor. Our server, as well as the floor manager, were really nice about it, and gave us a dessert as an apology.nnThe chicken parmigiana I had was really good and worth the wait. I was quite stuffed afterwards, and just barely managed to finish the dessert. Lol

Checked out Jack Astor's in Kanata, and it's a really nice spot to grab dinner. The inside is very dim and has colourful lights everywhere, and there's tons of tvs /posters everywhere, and I think we even saw a dj! The service was great, and I confirmed that the chicken here is 100% halal. I wasn't the biggest fan of my dish coconut chicken nuggets and the fries were cold, but my husband enjoyed the chicken tacos. I think it's a nice spot for friends and family to check out for sure.

We came in for an early dinner and had great service. It did get quite busy while we were there but the servers seemed to be doing a great job. The Thai curry bowl was very flavorful with lots of things in it and not spicy at all. The lobster crab dip was very creamy and tasted great. My son liked the kids pizza and he had the cookie for dessert. They had excellent drink specials. I had a margarita on the rocks but when I asked for a tajin rim they couldn't do that. The blubbery lemonade is very sweet. Overall really happy with the food and service. This place is like a lot of other big brand restaurants with a good size menu and very loud decor. Prices were high but again on par with similar restaurants.
