J's Wok Restaurant

Not happy with the ever changing prices of when I go in to pay for take outsince it suffers from the bill. Portions are good and food is decent but quality is not the best and owner is not the nicest. Unfortunately the business has been there for years and I would love to support it, as I’ve lived across the street as well for years, but the service and the service, the price that seems to depend upon the day, especially when substituting for no meat!! always changes/ goes up- cannot support.

Save your money and go elsewhere!!! And definitely DO NOT use their online ordering. You won’t get what you paid for, and the store takes no accountability for it and blames it on the ordering site that THEY choose to use. They used to be good but the food has gone way downhill. It’s like they don’t care anymore. And when you phone there the customer service is terrible. Used to love this place but will never order again.

Literally best Chinese food I've ever had. Very friendly service. Everything looked clean. Food was way beyond my expectations and was super fresh. The price was really good for the portion I got. 10/10 forsure. Highly recommend!!!Food: 5/5

The food and atmosphere is mediocre. Also ordered a 3 portion dish to go and upon inspection the quantity was small. When inquired about it she wasn’t willing to adjust the portion or the price. Won’t be going back or recommending. Lost 2 customers.

Too pricey for the amount of food you get. Ordered a war wonton soup. It was barely enough for 2 people. Also, ordered 2 beef and broccoli dishes and it came to just over $60 for the 3 items. The beef and broccoli were smaller portions too.

Had several times delivery I usually order different dishes to try all very very good. Delivery was good as well.

Food did taste fresh on my last visit old oil, unevenly cooked noodles and veggies, restaurant felt dirty sticky table and cutlery.

This place is a little restaurant right on Austin Ave, the staff are very friendly. It is very clean and well kept, the parking can get tricky as there is only parking in front of the resturant, it's a line of parking all the way along the strip of businesses. I ordered the beef and veggie chow mein, and it was delicious. I would definitely come backnhwre to try more dishes.

Ordered from them last night, they used to be a go-to for Canadian style Chinese in Coquitlam. Dinner for 5 , more like dinner for 2 at any of their competitors restaurants in area. Everything deep fried was burnt and the chow mein had so much cooking oil on it im sick now today. I'm attaching a pic of their burnt up spring rolls. Yes i ate them anyways, less headache than dealing with these clueless people again

First time back to our old favorite for Chinese food in many years. Nothing has changed much. Same decor and very run down looking. Food was pleasant but no where as good as I remembered it was. I also noted that we were not asked to show our covid passport. Will not go back to this place.
