We loved this place! It's so big and roomy. Lots of ramps! has a great viewing area. Had my son in for a private lesson which he loved so much! His instructor was really nice. Afterward he was able to skate around our own neighborhood for the first time. We are looking forward to going back!
My son and his friend had their joint birthday party at CJ's Skatepark today. The guests ranged in ability but the staff did their best to ensure that everyone was comfortable and engaged. Kevin went beyond expectations in being welcoming and helpful. The kids had a great time, which made us parents very happy. I imagine it won't be long before we're back for another visit.
This place is wonderful. Came on Jan 20,2023. It's clean, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. My son loved it,and he loved all the merchandise available as well. They also provide knee pads, helmets and elbow pads if you didn't bring them!
The team here at CJ's is incredible. They helped put together a package of complete boards and helmets for my 3 and 6 yr old who are just starting out. The level of knowledge, passion, and dedication they demonstrated was amazing. They helped me make this Christmas extra special for my boys. I'm so glad I came here instead of buying online or going to a big box store. I recommend any parent to come here to both get quality gear, great service, and support local! And now that I've seen inside the park and heard about their lessons and family skate time I'll definitely be back with my kids so they can learn in a safe, friendly environment. Thank you to Kevin manager and Jayden for all your help. And thank you to Jay founder for, what I've now learned, is a long term passionate commitment to supporting the community and providing such a great space for kids and youth
Bought a pair of discontinued Vans shoes off their Internet webshop. There's some room for improvement in communication, as it is an essential skill when running a webshop especially when shipping stuff all over the world, but Mr. Jay and his staff "balance out" with their kindness and helpfulness. Overall good purchase experience. Ciao from Italy!
I have been coming to CJs Skatepark for years now and I was able to pass on the joy to my 2 year old daughter! I love that they reserve the upper ramps on Sundays from 10am - 12pm for family skate! She had a blast rolling around in the mini ramp!
I never do reviews but after my day at CJ’s today I felt I had to. There’s just no place out there like it—- Not only is the atmosphere incredibly welcoming, but the staff members are personable and go above and beyond what I’d assume is expected of them to ensure everyone is satisfied with they’re experience and having a good time. The park itself is like a wonder haven for skateboarding…As much as its I have fun I never feel satisfied getting around the park becuase there’s just so much. It’s also relatively remote and in a location where it’s not jam packed and obnoxious like most of the skate parks in the GTA. Definitely a must go if you like skateboarding and your anywhere in the GTA or visiting from out of town
Went to CJ’s for my son and his friends joint Birthday party what an amazing experience Kevin greeted us made sure we had a good space and that all the kids felt comfortable in the park so impressed with the way we were looked after thanks for a fabulous event!!
I brought my 5&6yr olds and they were totally set up for their first try in the park. Kevin was kind and patient with them and me! and walked us through the whole experience. Even though I've never been, and it's definitely a culture, I didn't feel like we were out of place. Very inclusive space!
Our 10 year old son has been skating at CJ’s for over 3 years. We have watched our son steadily improve through the guidance and support of CJ’s team. It’s amazing to watch how genuinely excited the instructors get when a skater achieves a new skill. The CJ’s team provides an inviting and positive experience for all ages and skill levels. The facility itself is excellent and patron safety is top priority. Another incredible benefit to the CJ’s experience is the close friendships our son has developed with fellow skaters. We are so happy we found a sport that our son enjoys and that CJ’s is our perfect-match park to nurture our son’s love of skateboarding!
