Always wanted to go here but not hungry enough when we past by (I-75 exit 190) while heading up north or heading back down. Well..... no more waiting! Chicken, mashes potatoes, cold slaw, biscuits and all homemade with grandma's live. Yes, It is worth the wait (I mean waiting for your stomach to growl) Short story, Iva started to feed the men working on Michigan oil fields (1890's?) Her chicken so good, still serving today using the same iron skillets (so I'm told) A must stop for all fried chicken lovers.

I love the take out, but I'm not a big fan of eating there. Plus, they really need to work on their parking situation. Their customers think the street is the parking lot, and its NOT!

We called ahead and made a reservation for 15 as most of us drove from Grand Rapids to the Sterling Standish area for a pre-graduation dinner last Thursday prior to the Standish Sterling 2017 High School Graduation. We actually arrived 1/2 hour prior to our reservation time and the staff had our table ready in a room to the left of the entrance and it was lovely. Iva's staff was so very accommodating. The hostess and servers were awesome. They were all so very pleasant. The chicken was so delicious as was the rest of our meal. The chicken was just like our Mothers and Grandmothers made for us in our younger days. Our servers and the kitchen staff did an incredible job making sure everyone had exactly what they ordered and we sincerely appreciated that. It was delightful. Iva's Restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. Our entire party said they would definitely return for dinner the next time they were in the Sterling area and would definitely recommend Iva's to our Families and Friends. Thank you Natalee, Kevin, Kendra & Staff for all everyone did to make our dinner so enjoyable and memorable.
