Islington

Islington station is now under construction, the escalator on the sobeye side isn't working it's been months now...I often have to help seniors with carrying load up the flight of stairs on my way to work there from the start of this renovation..TTC do better by our senior citizens please

Really outdated station, with all the miway buses Mississauga moved to Kipling Station, there's less passenger traffic to the buses now. No bathrooms at this station.nnUnfortunately, retail shops like the bakery no more beef patties and clothing/bag stores are have closed as well. Interior of this station needs a lot more attention to as there's constantly water leaking from ceilings after major rainfall. This station is overdue for a major overhaul and will be renovated to comply with accessibility standards by 2025.nnThere is a 24-hr A&W or a Sobeys at Bloor Islington Place 3300 Bloor Street West connected via pathways if needed to grab a quick bite. Overall, need to go somewhere, it'll do.

In the mornings sometimes there's like 10 busses just sitting there while patrons wait at the designated waiting areas. Rain or snow they leave you there while buses pile up. All the platforms are full of people , and the staff is sitting in the bus chilling. I even saw one resting. Why wouldn't you at least pull up to the people to get out out of the cold and wait there? Waited 15 minutes today while 11 buses sit in limbo, almost 50 people alone waiting for 1 bus. This seems cruel to me.

Station has about anything that you can want in it. The person at the fare gate was helpful and friendly. The station is moderately sized but isn't accessible which sucks because of how many stairs there are in this station especially if traveling to the bus bay for all the buses. The trains run frequently through this station with my complaint being that the tiling of this station can use some work as some parts are without tiles.

Almost 2026 and the TTC stations with NO elevators.... where is the real integration and diversity?
